5 stars is due for the friendly staff and amazing material that they provide. The head of the academy is extremely friendly and teaches all levels of art at a professional level. In my experience there, doing pottery, was amazing and fun, I was able to find a new hobby that was affordable and meaningful. As part of the Arab community I can say that this is a place of heritage and culture not limited to the Iraqi culture. That is the beauty of Maqamat. I would highly recommend this academy if you are interested in pursuing or beginning any art from music to sculpting to painting, they have it all!!
