royal oak middle school is a great place to lean and grow i would defiantly recommend it to grade 6 to grade 8 go eagles GOATS

thoroughly disappointed with my stay here. the bed wasnt made when i checked in and the the water had a funny taste to it. continental breakfast was good though.

Recently, I met with a parent on an unrelated matter, and the topic of ROMS came up, specifically Mr. Lloyd. Sadly, it was the same narrative our child experienced last year. I have heard from other frustrated parents recently and in previous years whose children were in Mr. Lloyd's class. They too had troubling experiences. I did not leave a review last year, but after hearing again about similar examples, I believe it is important to document my concerns. Not only is this a poor reflection on Mr. Lloyd, but the school as a whole. I am aware that our family was not the only one who communicated concerns.My husband and I have documented numerous examples, many of which were brought to the principal’s attention through meetings with Mr. Lloyd in attendance. The issues centred around bullying, including online, in class and out on the school property during school hours. Bullying between children is unfortunately common, but having Mr. Lloyd bully our child was disgraceful. If a teacher struggles to be kind, supportive and respectful to their students, then they are in the wrong profession.I know several incredible teachers who give their all to their students. I also grew up in a family with many teachers and school officials all of which take pride in offering the best to their students. I feel this is where Mr. Lloyd dropped the ball and as a result, I struggle to give ROMS a decent review. My only request is that there be self-reflection and improvements made on behalf of Mr. Lloyd to fully support all students in the future.Thank you for taking the time to read this.

Some supportive and caring teachers, but other then that, Royal oak changed my life for the worse. There are some really cruel teachers and very cruel, disrespectful and mean kids. Very preppy, so unless you have money and pretty face, I wouldn't recommend it.

Schools great. Teachers are great. Mr Mark is/was the vice principal and he was great. One of the best teachers at the school is Mrs Laton. She is a really great teacherM8 THE GREAT

Good school mrs Ryan is the goodest

I love the school. I never regret choosing to go to this school. LUV IT!However, if you’re worried about students’ languages, than there’s nothing to do about it. You can’t change how a kid reacts.Anyway, LOVE THE SCHOOL! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
