It's a good grocery store for saving money. However it's very small, busy and poor selection. Food here isn't fresh. Their produce section is very poor quality. Many times I have purchased produce that was bad before expire date or bad when I brought it home and opened it up. I have also brought home expired frozen food without noticing. Always inspect food before purchasing.

Okay location, a bit busy, a bit unkempt, not the biggest selection in comparison to some other locations. Little vegan section included here as well in the refrigerated area in produce. Includes some Yves and Daiya products. They also have a self checkout area.

Good quality produce at [usually] lower prices than other grocery stores. Really glad they added the self checkout!

I'm new to this area and the store is great and has good quality product. Staff is very friendly and shelves are full for the most part. My first time coming in I had help from a staff member Tycho who helped me find the items I was looking for and was a big help. Will definitely shop here again.

I bought a package of beef burgers at this store. Selection brand. Opened the package and thought they looked very light in color but have not had this brand before. Cooked them at a BBQ and they turned out what I think is turkey. Would never buy turkey burgers. I have written a complaintx2 with no response. I have called only to be directed to another #. 2030 at a cost of 4.99. I have no idea what they think customer service is. Absolutely shameful.

Avoid shopping early morning. Management intentionally understaffs the cashiers so you’re forced to use self checkout. It’s fast if you have a few items but studies have shown they are much less efficient than they appear. It’s not like they are passing on the cost savings to us consumers! Just look at food prices.

I come to this Basics fairly often. Prices are good, but their salad section needs work. The fixtures have been broken for MONTHS and it seems to be getting worse and harder to use every time I come in. The worst is the thin pile that could take someone's eye out.The bags and containers are also getting squished in because of it. It's such a waste of money and it's very dangerous for customers.

On November 14th I was checking out at the aisle checkout when I was discriminated against by 2 young male staff, for buying feminine hygiene products. They stood off the side cracking jokes about me right beside me while I was trying to buy some groceries and hygiene products. Your staff are absolutely disgusting excuses of human beings. Your male staff are rude and immature. I was laughed at and made to feel assamed just for buy something every female needs. I hope you fire these 2 young teenage staff. Absolutely unacceptable. You have lost my business because of this. I will not be made a fool of by little immature boys. Fire them please.
