The venue is so amazing for any type of event it is welcoming, cozy, and just an all around great place. What makes the Garret even more amazing is working with Heather she is prompt with her responses, ensures a smooth night for your event, and reminds you of the small details you might forget! I needed a last minute bartender not only did she find one but he was the most friendly, outgoing bartender I have ever dealt with! The Garret is a beautiful, modern loft space that offer many unique features including exposed brick walls, natural light with windows overlooking Stephen Ave and a beautiful modern kitchen.We have hosted several events at the Garett including styled shoots, and a small wedding elopement. The space was a perfect place to host a small wedding ceremony, as it is versatile to be used to set up a small wedding ceremony, then host a small cocktail reception or dinner afterwards. The kitchen is a great addition for the space as it includes all the essential service-ware you would require, along with a refrigerator to store your food, cake, refreshments, etc.The event coordinator, Mia is wonderful to work with and very helpful at accommodating special requests.Would highly recommend this space, and can't wait until we are able to work together again!!

The Garett is one of my most favorite places to host a wedding or event! It has a ton of character and scope for the imagination when it comes to styling it up for an occasion. The exposed brick walls and modern kitchen have such great appeal for a multi functional space, and let’s not forget the windows and skylights for a natural glow! We highly recommend hosting your event here as Mia is wonderful to coordinate with and the space itself will not disappoint!

The Garret is a beautiful and chic loft-style event space in the heart of Downtown Calgary - we recently hosted an intimate workshop, and it was the PERFECT size. Spacious enough to provide social distancing, but intimate enough that it didn't feel too big for our small group size. Mia was so accommodating with the ever changing government regulations. The highlights of the space are the luxurious furnishings, the GORGEOUS PIANO!!! and the view of Stephen Ave. I can't wait to host more events in the New Year.

This place was so great to shoot in!!! Stunning natural light and amazing old brick walls. We will for sure rent this space again!

Amazing venue and staff!! Highly recommend!

We used The Garret for both the girls getting ready before our ceremony and our cocktail hour while the team flipped The Pioneer for our reception. The space is beautiful and unique with amazing views and exposed brick walls. It made for amazing getting ready photos as well as comfortable for lounging before the ceremony. Our cocktail hour was amazing in this space. Logistically it was perfect that it is right next door to The Pioneer so our guests didn't have to go far between the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. It also has an open kitchen which allowed our guests to watch the chef create our delicious snacks.

The Garret, where do we even start! It is such a great spot to have your wedding ceremony, wedding reception OR even rent it to get ready for your wedding at the Pioneer! The brick wall is outstanding.

Had a wonderful baby-shower at the Garret. What really made it for us was Heather! She was so helpful, and warm. My wife and Mom loved her interaction and customer friendly approach. I'll rent this venue for every one of my future events!!! Thank you!!
