Kananaskis Nordic Spa
The Nordic spa really nails the tranquility that we all crave while we are in the mountains. It is a phone free zone, which allows you to disconnect, unwind, and connect with your body. I thought that I would get bored, just hopping between the various pools, saunas, and steam rooms, however, it was relaxing going between them all and the time flew by.The bistro in the spa complex is very nice. It has large sectionals to lounge on and a great variety of food options. Both times I have gotten the chicken and apple panini and the pork bao buns. Both are very tasty and packed with flavor. This is my second time going and I am sure that I will go again in the future.

I have always enjoyed my visits here, it's just unfortunate that it's not uncommon to have a pool out of service when you go (which with the price point, doesn't seem right). Yesterday the cold and the gathering pool (the one in the picture) were closed. My favorite pool (elements) was open, and we still got a salt exfoliate, so that was nice. The vegetable broth at the Bistro inside the spa is also incredibly salty, and I had to pour half of my water in it to make it bearable. But the charcuterie board is always good.

I’m so happy this place was recommended to me. Such an incredible experience with your family, friends or partner. Such a relaxing experience especially if you’re able to get in for a massage. The cafe is great aswell. Not huge portions more like a light meal and appy type of place which is perfect. Can’t wait to go back

$160/person for the hydrotherapy experience- which feels like an adult water park. An array of steam rooms/saunas/hot pools, as well as one cold plunge" that's at around 14 Celsius when I was there in March which was not that cold (could be a good or bad thing depends on who you ask). Went on a Monday and it was surprisingly busy. A restaurant is attached inside but make sure you get a buzzer early as they had an hour wait by the time we joined the queue at 2pm. Food is dine in only but you can order the drinks outdoor by the fire pits/lawn chairs. Overall a lovely experience. My favorite was the steam rooms."

I have no photos of the inside of the spa, as they have a no phone policy. But trust me it is so wonderful. There is a hot/warm/cold rotation that they suggest. There's many different kinds of saunas, hot pools, steam rooms and the like. It was extremely relaxing and a lovely experience. Staff were all exceptional in answering any questions that were had. 10/10 would recommend.

We spent a day at the Nordic Spa, and it was worth the investment. We spent 5 hours going through all the saunas, pools, and steam rooms. There were plenty of staff, however there were consistent problems with some of the pools, which definitely impacted our ability to enjoy the facilities. Lots of amenities and a delightful restaurant. No photos inside the spa as it's a phone-free experience. No in-and-out privileges, so plan on bringing food or buying lunch.

Kananaskis Nordic Spa is an absolute gem! The serene and beautiful surroundings instantly create a tranquil atmosphere. The spa facilities are top-notch, providing a perfect blend of relaxation and rejuvenation. The staff is friendly and attentive, ensuring a truly luxurious experience. From the soothing hot pools to the invigorating saunas, every aspect of the spa is designed to promote well-being. It's a must-visit destination for anyone looking to unwind and indulge in pure bliss. Highly recommended!Don't forget to purchase the Kananaskis Conservation Pass $15/daily or $90/annual! It's a small investment that ensures you can fully enjoy the beauty of the area without any worries. Without the pass, there is a fine of $150 for personal vehicles and $350 for commercial vehicles.

Very nice spa but wish there was more old rubs. The one cold tub is really far from certain pools. Also, most places like this have a quiet policy. This place let's people be loud and it's not relaxing to sit in a pool trying to relax surrounded by negativity of people talking about work and family drama. Loved the steam rooms!

The massage here was divine! I had heard it wasn't good, but I thought it was great and was so glad i got one. Otherwise it has pools and different kinds of saunas (infrared, regular, eucalyptus steam, etc) with space to lay out in between if it's warm or a firepit with robes if it's cold.

We had a great experience at the Nordic Spa. We went on a Tuesday, it wasn’t busy at all. It was perfect. The change rooms were really clean and the service was exceptional.
