Kids' Time Out Preschool

My 3 year old and 4 year old are attending preschool here this year and they LOVE it!! They are always looking forward to the next day they get to go to school, I'm always impressed with the amount of crafts, hands on learning and outside play they do! The teachers are so wonderful, easy to talk to, understanding, helpful and so kind. Such a great preschool!

My son loves this preschool ! He's learning so much everyday and still getting plenty of time outside. Teachers are great and being a part of the parent board is so much fun!

We've had the pleasure of having two of our children attend KTO! When looking at all the preschool options in Cold Lake we very quickly put Kids' Time Out at the top of our list! The very spacious classroom and large gated playground caught our eye immediately compared with other preschools in town. The classroom itself is so large and has so many windows to keep it bright and welcoming. With so many learning areas in the classroom we knew our kids would keep busy and not feel too cramped. The playground and outdoor toy selection are a preschoolers dream! The amazing staff and hardworking parent and community run board are always striving to give the students what they need to succeed. The teacher's facilitate so many learning opportunities that will help the preschooler's to be ready for Kindergarten. Our oldest son went to Kindergarten prepared to jump confidently into a daily school routine. Our youngest is always coming home so excited to share with us what he has learned. Whether it's new songs, new letters, new numbers, new crafts, we can see the value of having him attend this preschool. The teacher's take so much time to photograph the kids learning, playing and socializing for parents to see - one look and you know these kids are receiving all the necessary skills needed to succeed when they move onto to Kindergarten. Many of the students who go to KTO end up going to Cold Lake Elementary which is great for the students to be able to make relationships with friends who will move onto Kindergarten with them. Only great things to say about this amazing program!

My daughter loves this school! So much open space for the kids inside and a great outdoor playground. I like that I can sit in on classes when my kiddo is feeling shy.

My son Jase attended KTO and looooved it ! He would count down the days until he got to go back every single weekend ! I love that the class sizes were more intimate giving each child the opportunity to learn and grow at their pace as well as more hands on from the teachers . The kids all become so close and they looove their teachers , the teachers there I cannot say enough about ! I had the pleasure of volunteering a few times and witnessing first hand how great they were . The kids become very routined and excited for their daily “chores/tasks” in the classroom my son always loved being the leader . The teachers would always tell me if Jase had an off day or they noticed anything (good and bad ) - they really knew their kids and I think that’s why the kids always felt so safe and loved by them! My son is now in kindergarten and my hubby and I will sometimes joke saying we wish he could just always be in pre school - he was always so happy to go and we felt safe sending him .
