Ralph was on time, kind and professional. He identified the problem quickly and explained the issue in detail for me. The entire call was under an hour and done for a great price!

I was in a pinch, my water heater broke down and I didn't realise until 7 pm, the next morning when the new water heater was delivered, I called McLean Mechanical, Ralph was there, tools in hand to save the day on an hour notice. Less than an hour, he was out, and the hot water was on. Price was reasonable, and Ralph was super nice, thank you!! I hope I dont need service again, but I would definitely call them first if I do!!

We got a $3000 brand new water heater installed by McLean and after a month or 2…our hot water stopped working. First we were told it was a piece that needed to be replaced. That’s the info he gave us. So he ordered us the part, he said he would call back with info on the part. But he never did. I always had to call him. He kept saying the part should be here Monday, then when I didn’t hear from him, I called Tuesday and he said by Wednesday it should be in. By Friday we still did not have the part. We went 3 WEEKS with NO hot water. Someone else gave us a tip to get the water hot for an hour or two so we could at least have a hot shower…that information would’ve been appreciated from him and not another company. THEN when we finally got the part/piece installed, it turns out that’s not what needed fixing… works perfectly. Apparently the issue, due to improper installation (issue was found by another company) there is water at the bottom of the heater that should not be there not allowing air to come through. Ralph told me he would call me tomorrow to schedule a day to fix the issue and never called. I had to call him two days after waiting for him to reach out. We’re going on a month now and still do not have the issue resolved. It has been very frustrating. I feel we’ve had to constantly reach out to this guy for next step instruction/communication. He does not seem to care, not in a rush to help and didn’t give us any advice to help us move forward. Horrible communication, installation and follow up. Would not recommend.

Was at my building for 15 minutes, changed a part that cost $8.99 at Home Depot and charged $60 for the part (700% markup) and a full hours labour. Total bill of $160. Do not use this company unless you want to get ripped off!

Our AC wasn’t working during a lovely heatwave, and we had been told we would need a new unit. We called Ralph to get a quote. From the moment he took our call he was very friendly and professional. We were very lucky to be squeezed in that day, and thrilled to learn that we only needed minor items. It’s great to know there are honest people out there, so happy we don’t need a new unit for a few more years. I will use him in the future and recommend to everyone!

Job was done well however price was very high. Wasn’t told after hour was 5pm and time and a half when I called them (told me they would be there earlier), really wish they did. Once again job was done very well.

I've used McLean Mechanical several times and have always received top-notch service. My furnace was on the fritz. The owner was quick to respond to my inquiry and arranged an appointment promptly. Very personable, knowledgeable and efficient. He even took the time to show me the issue and walk me through a couple of options. The problem was fixed quickly and for a great price. If you're looking to get the job done right, McLean Mechanical should be your first call.
