It is a exellent place

When trying to make contact with your concierge at the Fairmont Orchid Hotel on the Big Island I get their answering machine. Having an answering Machine on your Concierge Desk does not say We want to be of Service!" Waiting for the message and then waiting for a call back is not what I would expect from a Fairmont Hotel! When trying to find an email for your corporate office it keeps getting referred back to your Home page....so rather than printing a letter and sending it to you because you seem to want to distance yourselves from the people that are supporting you

The cocktails in the library bar are excellently crafted. Historic atmosphere is very charming.
