Ordered soup and wrap, both AMAZING! Nice size wrap too, I couldn't finish it all so I took the other half home and had it for dinner:)

Come for impeccable yet casual service and the best version of a good ol' diner burger with poutine.Big portions, very fairly priced, easy going but still clean and quick. They definitely go above and beyond and the Belmont Diner is a new favourite of ours for a fast workday lunch or a family breakfast.

The local diner in the small town of Belmont. All day breakfast, delicious comfort foods, great & friendly service with a smile. Homemade Portuguese egg tarts?!!?! Delicious!!Gluten free bread is small but delicious. Local meats from butchers! LOVE the local support!nLocals love this place & you'll see why, when you check this place out!!

Great experience under new ownership. Very pleased with the improved service since the new owners took over. Great little breakfast, awesome coffee, lovely server/owner.Would love to see them lean into the retro-vibe opportunity here. It’s such a cute place!I saw the menus had some items crossed off in pen. Maybe that was just a one-off while edits are happening but if you need a hand editing the menu and prettying it up, let me know and I’d love to help!

Stopped in to the Belmont Diner while passing through. As a small town boy myself, I always love checking in with the local eatery’s. I ordered the 3 Egg breakfast and was decently satisfied. Prices are a smidge high for what you get but for the only place in town, it’s what you have to work with.My recommendations for this establishment to get 4 or 5 stars would be —1. Add more veggies and/or onions to the potatoes and/or use fresh potatoes. Nothing wrong with deep fried potatoes, but if you want to go above and beyond start there. Why not have a premium option of fresh grilled potatoes, onions, and peppers (for texture and colour on the plate)? My mouth is watering thinking about it! Even a single slice of tomato as a garnish would go a long way to improving the look of the plate.2. Staff needs to pay more attention to guests. Topping up coffee, waters, and making sure the guests have the proper utensils, and checking in before, during, and after the meal. Making a genuine connection can go a long way and making sure that people have what they need guarantees a solid experience and repeat business.3. Having a TV on or music playing would help with the atmosphere. It’s a great old diner, but a few small and purposeful moves could take the atmosphere from bland to next level. Play music some classic rock and having the weather channel or sports highlights playing can make a measurable impact.It’s a nice spot that clearly been around for a while for a reason, the people of Belmont love it! I think these small upgrades will not only continue to keep the locals coming back to a place they love but will drive out of town business as well!Thank you for the good food, caring company, and smiles while stopping through.

Just went in for breakfast. Got there at 11:57am and the waitress said we are still in time for breakfast special (ends at 12 noon!). Food was good, price was good, service was good. We are already planning our next trip.
