Replacement of existing deckWe had moved to a home where the back deck was in rough shape, so rather than repair it, we decided to replace it with a view to raising it and enlarging it. We contacted Perry Curiston of T-ROC The Renovators of Canada, who came highly recommended by family who used him for a total condo renovation.From start to finish Perry and his crew of Cameron, David and Rodney demonstrated professionalism, efficiency and competency. They understood what we required and answered our questions along the way. We especially liked their use of software to update us on daily progress and advise on the anticipated work for the next day.The crew kept the worksite tidy and took precautions to ensure our safety during construction. The project came in on budget and we have an enlarged, modern deck that will last us for years to come.We are pleased to endorse them.

We had a really wonderful experience working with Perry, Cam and Rodney. They were very honest and found another way to do the job which resulted in being under budget. The quality of their work was clean and professional. Communication was clear, consistent and accessible. Everything was done professionally, with clear agreements, invoicing and reporting (using a great app). We experienced a slight delay at one point, but even that was due to an extenuating circumstance, and there was always communication. The team cleaned the house quite well on the way out and were respectful of our home and daily routine. Strongly recommend this team for any home project.

Dennis and the team made our bathroom renovation a snap. All contractors were on time, courteous, polite and cleaned up after every work day. The job quality was top notch; even after running into some snags, the team proposed solutions and then performed great work. Budget was within bang on the original estimate, with only some minor cost increases because of the unexpected. I would not hesitate to recommend Dennis and his team from TROC to anyone.

My fiancé and I chose Perry and TROC to completely gut down to the studs and renovate two 70s-style bathrooms in our new country home. This is the worst company I have every dealt with in my life. We were referred to them through Home Depot. Several items were to be completed under contract more than two years ago. At the time, we were treated with disrespect by a project manager (who we were subsequently lead to believe was terminated). The work was slow to complete, the contractors doing the work were often late, unprepared, and uncertain of the scope of work. Eventually, after much arm twisting it got done. We thought we'd closed that chapter.What prompted this review, is the fact that a pinhole plumbing leak was recently discovered causing mold and a reasonable amount of property damage to our home. This was plumbing that they had completed. The owner of the company refused to address their poor workmanship. Some weeks later we're left with a small refund for a very small plumbing repair, while being left with property damage that we need to address at our own expense and other plumbing work that most likely should be corrected as well so the next homeowner doesn't have to deal with it. Evidently property damage due to unprofessional work is not their concern. The company who came to fix it couldn't believe that a professional plumber had done the job in the first place.I should note that on our contract, the following business is listed:T-ROC Innovations Inc. dba The Renovators of Canada. 185 Bullock Drive, Unit 1, Markham, Ontario.No compensation was offered for the damages to our home, only the plumbing repair that was the cause of the damage.

Used this company to do a load bearing wall removal. Every step of the process was great. Very transparent, on time, available for questions and kept the project exactly on track and scope. Received daily updates and photos as work progressed.Highly recommend.
