I fly to Thompson for work. This is the first time I've stayed at The Best Western which a non-smoking facility.It is easy to find as it is on the same road as the airport. There is a parking lot and the building is accessible for all.Checking in was easy and my room was easy to find. There are 2 elevators which is sufficient for the 4 floor building.I was in the King Suite with balcony on the second floor. This was an accessible suite with lots of room to navigate and and is not equipped with a bath tub.The kitchen is equipped with 2 elements, microwave, fridge, dishwasher, toaster and coffee maker. You are also provided with 1 large non stick pot, 1 stainless steel pot, nonstick frying pan and small sauce pan. Cooking utensils are provided along with a bottle opener and can opener. Plates, cutlery, mugs, cups, bowls, side plates and wine glasses are also found in the room. Dish soap, dishwasher tabs, sponge and scrub brush can also be found.Living area is comfortable with 2 large chairs with cushioned table/footrest, no couch but plenty of seating options like a padded bench along one wall and a dining table with 4 chairs.The balcony faced the courtyard of an apartment building and was quiet while I was there. There is a bistro set for 2 located on the balcony.The bedroom had a pocket door and when closed, is a very quiet space to sleep. Drawers, closet and desk are in the bedroom. There are separate thermostats to control the bedroom and living area.The breakfast options are good. You receive hot breakfast tickets that you present if you are interested. Otherwise, there is a pancake maker, bagel, toast (gluten free option available), fruit, yogurt dispenser, coffee (different options) and cereal.In the evening, there are complimentary nachos (served with sour cream and salsa) and/or soup.Other amenities include a sauna and gym. Both were clean and not busy when I attended.This is the best accommodation that I've stayed in while in Thompson.

Room was clean , beds are comfortable - although they must have sprayed an entire can of febreeze in the room before we got there , we could hardly breathe ! Had to open window and leave the room . The breakfast on Tuesday was less than desirable , bacon was the only thing edible . Eggs were watered down and in cubes… even the cranberry juice dispense seemed watered down . They also much be trying to save money because the corridor on the suite floors was sweltering hot . For $250 I expected more from the Best western hotel chain .

Our stay was great, but the gotcha at the end was the nightly rate. Monday night rate was as expected but the Tuesday night rate was $60 more….how can the rate increase so dramatically from a Monday to a Tuesday!!Spoke to the GM and they said that’s it priced per night by occupancy??

Comfortable and clean rooms but management and guest services are poor. Management refused to accommodate a TV upgrade for off shift hours and woke up 20 of my team members to upgrade TV's while we were trying to sleep during the day. On extended stays switching rooms became incredibly common despite the inconvenience. Housekeeping staff are great and very helpful though. Breakfast and evening reception are good and appreciated.

Friendly staff at the front desk and house keeping and the lady at the dining area is so nice and pleasant. The beds at this hotel are some of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in, the rooms very clean and temp control perfect. The wifi is stable and strong and I am assuming the tv is good but I never use it. Lovely place.

Awful experience. Called to confirm my booking as I was not given a confirmation email as requested. Was put on hold for 10 mins. Then called back and was given to the manager Ethel, she then asked me to pronounce my last name and was told even after I spelled out my last name that she will not confirm until I pronounce it right. Continued to argue with her until I was hung up on twice. Awful customer service, and professionalism.

I had to make a last minute trip to Thompson, I ended up booking with them. Room was very clean and spacious. It came with a kitchenette, great for long term stays. Breakfast was included, the food was good, menu depends on the day of week.Lastly, the staff were very friendly and helpful. I would stay here again.
