W & AS Bruce

I've recently used W&AS Bruce for my divorce and it was all carried out in a professional and timely manner. Helen and Selena were fantastic throughout and couldn't recommend them highly enough.

Not the greatest of experiences - never saw my Solicitor, was all phone and email conversations. Even then, felt like nothing was being taken seriously and there was never any urgency (until the fees were due for payment).At a bad time of my life (battling severe depression and suicidal thoughts), I certainly didn't feel like they were fighting my corner. I wasn't kept up to date with what was happening (often I'd mention something and be told they had it in notes from weeks ago), and advice given wasn't what I'd call brilliant.Obviously I won't go into specifics, but suffice to say their service could also have cost me a significant amount of money (6 digits). And that's without much personal distress caused by the situation, that they weren't interested in doing anything about.Even the final bill wasn't correct, and I've just had to fork out even more money as they made an error.I now have a different Solicitor at Stevenson Marshall (for a different matter), and the difference is night and day. They're friendly, you actually see them in person and they take the time to fully explain the process.Although the reception and secretaries are great, I certainly would NOT recommend this firm for legal representation. My advice is look elsewhere - you're going to be paying regardless, and your money would be put to better use employing Solicitors who actually care.All this firm seem interested in is cash, and their service is appalling compared to other Solicitors (whose fees are more or less the same).

I recently purchased a new home and worked with a paralegal at this office. I would have to say that the service was excellent. The paralegal Gillian was fantastic. She keep me fully informed throughout the process, was always available to answer any questions I would highly recommend this solicitors office and especially the paralegal team anyone in need of legal services.

I used W&AS Bruce for a simplified divorce. I personally liked that I only had to visit twice, once to pay the bill and once to sign some papers and everything else was communicated through email. In this circumstance that was easiest for me. Everyone was friendly and approachable when I visited. I would use their services again if I needed to.

I chose W&AS Bruce to purchase property after 7 weeks I got the key. Well done to all team and especially for Llaura from Dunfermline. Excellent service, quick without any issue.Very good comunication and advice.Highly recommend to everyone to purchase property.

I have had very bad experience with this lawyer who had taken on my case. I couldn’t believe how uninterested they were in my situation. I Barely had any help and whenever I spoke with her she will shout and speak to me so badly and would be against me. I Had no support whatsoever. They would only take on your case seriously if you have tons of money to give them. I am appalled as I am a single mother of two girls, I don’t earn very much hence it’s has always been difficult to find a good lawyer to defend my case. This is just wrong on every level. I wouldn’t recommend this firm.
