I’m sorry to say that their classic poutine wasn’t as good as I had imagined for this was the first time I tasted it and found the fries soggy and the sauce bland. After eating up the cheese curds that tasted like mozzarella, I had to throw away the rest of the fries. A Canadian friend from Toronto told me I had to go to a mom-and-pop eatery to eat the “real” poutine.

When in Canada try the poutine. This vegetarian classic definitely hit the spot with the cheese curds and the amount of vegetarian gravy. A little pricey here though as a large fries can cost upwards of $16 after tax and tip. Cups of water are $0.40 but they refilled my reusable water container.

Got the premium hot dog with chili and cheese. Not very premium in looks... A sad looking hot dog. The skin was dry and the bread was store bought Villagio bread. There is a Cobs bakery in the mall so if they got Cobs fresh buns instead of the processed buns they used, it would be way better. It's just essentially like a 7 eleven hot dog but 4X the price.

I love New York Fries. I love watching them prepare the thick cut fries, I love watching them bake it. The standard fries are pretty good and the basic poutine is tasty as well (you sometimes need to prompt the staff to really get hot gravy on the curds to get that melt as the curds are stored slightly below room temperature). The fries with the works are a mixed bag. I can do without the butter chicken entirely. Parking is close either from the rooftop mall lot or one of the other mall lots. Transit is available through the Canada line or one of the bus hubs.

Fries are great :) good ol classic but there loaded hotdogs kinda bad... I could make a cheaper better hotdog with a microwave :/

New York Fries Richmond Centre
Had one of the worst hot dogs of my life yesterday. It was July 4 and I had a craving for 1…or 62 but after the NYF chili cheese dog was terrible. Texture was as if it hadn’t been cooked. Wasn’t that hot either, minimal chili and cheese sauce was just slapped on across the middle - not down the middle. I know they’re known for their fries & poutine but I’m not sure I’d go back to this store for those either.
