When our old Mitsubishi Mr Slim A/C died this summer Lapointe Refrigeration replaced it with a new Mitsubishi Split A/C ductless unit. I contacted Danny as we were initially interested in a combination ductless heating and A/C unit. I appreciate Danny's honesty in proposing the A/C unit as the combo heating/AC unit would not have been very efficient in our style house.The installation team did an excellent job also. The unit is installed very professionally and the team were very nice. They explained how this unit was installed vs our old unit. They even went above and beyond by adding some insulation in the attic that was missing.As we were prepping for winter I enquired about a cover for the outside unit. Danny checked with the manufacturer and was able to find us a cover made specifically for our unit. He even dropped it off at our house while in the area to get it to us quicker.I would recommend Lapointe Refrigeration. I am confident we have the correct unit for our house and that it is professionally installed. Everybody involved were very professional and nice to deal with.

We just moved to Québec from Ontario and required a/c for our home. I contacted Jean Lapointe via the internet and within a month the unit was installed. My wife and I are totally impressed with the complete buying and installing process. Francois the main installer and his partner did an outstanding job and the outside unit and siding looks like it was original to the home.Very pleased and highly recommend this company for your a/c needs.August 18,2021Had a problem with a blocked vent line on A/C, called Lapointe and made a appointment for next two days, they called back within 20 minutes and had a Service guy in our driveway within 2 hours of our initial call. Service guy fixed problem, cleaned filter and checked pressures on unit and bid us good day an hour later. Outstanding service, can't recommend this great company enough, very pleased.Jerry Beatty

Je suis très satisfait du travail d’installation de ma thermopompe exécuté par François et Mathieu. Une installation soignée et méticuleusement réalisée. De vrais professionnels expérimentés. Le système installé comprenait 3 unités intérieures et l’accessibilité de 2 des points de distribution n’étaient selon moi pas facile à réaliser. Ils ont réussi avec brio à ma grande surprise. Afin d’arrêter mon choix sur la soumission que m’avait fourni Dannis j’ai soumis sa soumission à un ingénieur chevronné en chauffage et ventilation qui m’a confirmé qu’il n’y avait rien à changer et que le sytème convenait parfaitement à la configuration de ma maison. Donc, Lapointe Réfrigération toute une équipe à qui on peut faire confiance.

A+++ Super service from Jean that took us as a new customer in a busy season and Andre that came in on his day off (Holiday Weekend) to ensure our fridges were working properly. Trust. Credibility.Honesty.Helpful.Not a company that wants to take advantage of you and make money. All words that apply here and well deserved. Here's why. I was experiencing issues with my heat pump and AC. I called for a service appointment. Instead, the head of the service group called, asked questions, diagnosed the problem over the phone, and get this....encouraged and convinced me that I could fix the problem myself! He told me what to do and how to proceed. In brief, never done this before but followed his instructions, and voila! Problem solved! This company wanted to help me sincerely and in this case without any cost! He also returned my call same day too! Now this is a firm you can trust! I will continue to be a client and encourage others to become clients with a firm like this that has integrity and true customer concern. Bravo and thanks to Mr. Jean Robert!
