Tacos were good. Ordering was not smooth. I had to repeat everything multiple times and the employee could not get it right due to distractions. I tried in Spanish and English. We were charged for a drink they didn't have in the case for a higher amount and they forgot a taco all together. You are on your own testing to figure out which is which. Telling them the issues just got us a cold response and a second copy of our receipt.

Service is great. It was raining a lot and everybody was doing their best to deliver food. In addition to it, great tacos, bartender is super kind and quick, ambience close to the river is another positive point. So I don’t get why some people complain about it - perhaps they were just having a bad day, don’t like tequila or are not patient enough to wait 5min.Finally they have THE CUTEST DOG as the bar mascot.

Looks very popular and the crowds will draw you like a lord as well. However, tacos are very american palette oriented, and come with the american dollar sign as well, meaning, a little to expensive for a mediocre taco. The place is charming, next to a brook. Over all good experience, but wouldn’t spend money here again.

The tacos here seem wildly overpriced for their quality. They were good! But not that price good. Staff were very friendly and pleasant. Outdoor picnic tables were great.

A little expensive but amazing tacos. Lots of flavor. Don't be afraid to get more than one because they're a bit small. I love the outdoor seating they have it gives you that Woodstock feel. Also they have a cute stream that you can view right outside the business.

5/10 there are too many other local places nearby that have better food and better prices. $6.50 for tacos that don’t have much to them is not worth it. If the tacos were overflowing, maybe then $6 tacos you can get away with. It’s a cool location, but hard sell to come back. And not the quickest service for an empty place.

I have been living in Woodstock for a few years. Hadn't been back to tinker taco since the pandemic sporadically in between so I was wondering how the situation improved with the new bar area. Maybe this was my fifth time ever. The food is so fresh and good and the area is great with the stream and outdoor tables. The whole place is open to the elements. This makes it a great place for big groups, families, dog lovers,etc. The only way to order is counter style and the bring the food out to your number. The bar doesn't have the best options in my opinion, no IPAs. It was nice but I'm not gonna go back that often to pay full prices for no service and to eat at picnic tables. It's good for every so often.

This place serves some of the best tacos I have ever eaten. Trust me when I tell you, I have eaten more than my fair share of tacos. If you're feeling adventurous, I highly recommend the octopus taco...no joke. Tinker Taco is a hidden gem. It's a must for any day trip in Woodstock.Chris@ North East Ford

this one’s tough. i love the vibe of the restaurant. the location is cute, and the drinks are fun. but the food is bland and overpriced. the refried beans were watery and needed a lot more salt & seasoning. the tacos were expensive, yet the portions were meager and tasted like nothing (please tell me how chorizo could possibly taste like nothing). the shishito peppers were actually tasty, but one pretty okay side won’t save an otherwise unremarkable meal. not to mention, some of the silverware was just filthy.come for the drinks, but don’t expect much otherwise. safe to say we won’t be stopping by again next time we’re in town. whomp whomp.
