I visited the store in early Jan 2020 asking for a waterproof laminate for our 2 bathrooms. I was advised to buy a water resistant flooring and that it would be fine, not cheap, but I was happy. Our builder told us it was not suitable for a bathroom as it had an MDF centre and would expand if wet. I took my receipt and packs back to return this week. A credit was bluntly refused by the manager because this particular flooring was in a brochure showing a bath in the image and ge said it was fit for purpose even though it was just water resistant. They do offer the bathroom plastic click laminate but I wasn't advised by the salesman at the time. I was at the counter for 15 minutes explaining the flooring wasn't waterproof only water resistant asking for a credit politely and still refused by two salesmen and the manager. I then asked for the MDs details and pointed out I was within the 28 day period and it was my right the return the flooring. Only at that point did they sucombe and walked with me to check the packs weren't damaged or opened. The manager argued with me all the way to the car and back again. I stayed silent. He was adamant about having the last word even after I had pointed out I was the customer when at the desk. He begrudgingly refunded my money but still arguing that they were right. I will never be returning again or recommending the company to family or friends. The unproffesionalism was unbelievable and offered no customer service whatsoever infact outright rudeness. Please stay clear.

Thank you to Clive who prepared everything to make sure the lamminate flooring from the front door to the back door was level and thank you to Dan for laying it. We are so thrilled with all the work and the cheerful professionalism of everyone we dealt with. 5 star service.

We were recommended by a friend to use The Carpet Factory, to fit out an entirely new 2nd floor, including 3 bedrooms, dressing room, bathroom, landing and stairs. Before the lockdown, we visited the Unit and after discussing our requirements with the sales team, we selected a top quality carpet, at an excellent price, plus a 'click system' for the bathroom. There was a delay in the supply due to CV19 but once obtained the fitting was undertaken propmply, with 1st class results. We found the whole experience enjoyable. We have now refurbishing the existing downstairs rooms and have ordered another 'click system for a large dinning room. The service so far has has been excellent.
