We are very happy with the work Barry and his crew completed at our home. He was quick to come out and give us a quote and completed the job within a few weeks. Everyone was very friendly while here working, and they did great work, without leaving a mess behind. We are glad we found them and look forward to using them again in the future!

Needed a new fan for new gas stove venting. Riley was prompt, very pleasant and followed all COVID protocols. The fan installation was not totally straight forward, but he assessed the best option and explained everything to me. The work was done well and I am very pleased with his work. Highly recommend Moser Electric. I would like to thank them for their donation to the Knights of Columbus Toy Drive. The gift certificate was appreciated and I like that they care about our community.

My wife and I were looking to do some fairly substantial renovations on our home. We were converting our home from a single family home into a legal duplex. After speaking with some friends and family Moser Electric was recommended to take on the project. We were not 100% sure what all needed to be done as this was our first time with this process or any large renovation project. They were very helpful with reviewing the paperwork required by the city and made up a plan of action for us to stay within code and meet the building requirements. Their knowledge and expertise was extremely helpful in getting the job done. We also added a bunch of tasks for them since they were there getting the other work done.They were also extremely professional every time they showed up they were clean, presentable and even wore boot protectors to make sure not do damage our flooring. If you are looking for quality work from knowledgeable electricians definitely check them out.

Barry Moser and Son , Were awesome, they were very professional from the beginning to the end of the jobs . They upgraded my electrical panel and ran a line out to my hot tub and hooked it up. They organized the whole project with my utility company . They are both very personable and professional. I highly recommend this company !!!cheers Stephen

I started to have trouble with the Aluminium wiring in my 1970’s home and Moser Electric was recommended by family and friends. A local family business with over 30 years of professional experience, I followed their advice and was really impressed.Every outlet, light and switch was carefully inspected, and repairs were made to bring my home up to code. During the updating, the old DIY electrical projects from previous owners were uncovered. I am lucky I did not have a fire!! This team was polite, focused and left the house clean with everything back in place. As a courtesy, a chain was installed on the workshop door to prevent damage to an outside light they just installed. The 30 years of experience showed when my questions and concerns were answered in a clear and direct manner. Moser Electric does certified work that will pass House Inspections when future prospective buyers are applying for house insurance for this 1970’s home. In the meantime, I just got a discount on my house insurance because of the upgrade.

Terrible experience with this father and son duo. Contacted Barry well over a month ago... He came out to check out the job and told us he would be in contact within 3 business days with a quote and was 2 weeks out from actually being able to do the work. We did not hear back from him for weeks despite multiple attempts to contact him. Finally I was able to track him down and he sent a quote. I asked him to also provide a new timeline on when he could complete the work but he did not do so. Now that he is running out of work (probably due to his poor business practices) he has tried to contact us to complete the job again with no timeline or commitment.When he initially came to our home to see the work needing to be done we realized my mom had been good friends with and lived down the street from his cousins. He assured us he was the man for the job. As a new member of the Elmira community I am very disappointed with the deceptive ways of a family run, small town business. He has strung us along at his convenience but at our expense and sees nothing wrong with it. We calledA company from the city And had the work done in less than two weeks. This is not a father/son team you can count on in our area and if they do end up doing the work I would be very wary of their knowledge and experience. Really sad the type of legacy he is passing to his son and the negative impact he is contributing to the community. I am frustrated yet happy that we did not pay for any services that he offered and suggest you look elsewhere. We have always been small town country folk and like contributing to family run businesses but again this is not one ofthem. Pay the money, call the real experts and be dealt with in professional and timely manner.

Barry and his team are top notch. They have helped us with a basement renovation by adding more outlets and rewiring some of the existing outlets. They upgraded the panel and installed a new 220 volt outlet. They also worked on our kitchen renovation and are going to be adding wiring for new fan installations. We are very happy with their work and advice.

Moser Electric did a wonderful job for me. They fixed some lights and then came back to install new outdoor lights. They explained clearly what choices I had and what they did. I highly recommend them.
