Kawartha Lakes Marina

I am part of a group that has rented a unit here for a midweek getaway for two years. The resort and the staff are excellent. We have always had a great time. We also attended Sheffield Green Golf Course right down the street. Last year things went smoothly and we had a lot of fun. This year the management we're not nearly as friendly or personable. Not sure if it was because we were a group of seven during the week and not locals. But regardless it spoiled the day, take it with a grain of salt perhaps they will be better with you. Good little local course, I just expected much better service.

Gas prices are more expensive than usual gas station prices, but it's convenient when your already on the water and want to get gas quickThey also sell drinks and ice cream for a quick stop if your in a boat

Great, family owned business. Excellent service and such a great place to call our host home. No complaints.

Came by boat and stayed over night for Boatapalooza Aug. 5th, 2022.Fair pricing for Transient slip, very nice people, Brenda was great.We had a good time.Facilities were older but clean, large site so a bit of walk to the showers from the main dock.All in all very happy with our stay, would visit again.

Easy to access. New stable docks. 2022 host of boatapoluzza. Convenient marine store with ice and ice-cream. Food truck near by. Two boat launches and a golf course within 1 block. Fuel and pump out. Limited parking on busy weekends. Recommended

We kept our 40' boat there for the summer this year. Everyone we met there... Nicole, Randy, Chad, and all the staff were friendly, welcoming, and professional.

This resort is not meant for family's with children although they suggest it is on the website. We planned a family reunion there renting 3 cottages and 1 RV spot. 10 kids and 9 adults. We found that what they said they had, they didn't. Sandy beach - no more of a sand box, it is in the Marina where the boats are, full of weeds and Marian residue from boat traffic (not suitable for swimming). Play structure was advertised, it was not there. It is on a busy road where people go faster then the limit which was concerning for the young children playing. I am sure it a good place to go if you are a group of adults looking to fish all week but not great for families. Cottages were as advertised and fairly clean.

Totally bad experience. was looking to get some dock space end of seaso and winter storage. No where was there any mention of non refundable deposit. Not cool that you won't refund money...but I guess that's the reputation you will be supporting.

Great Marina 100% because of the owners. All most marinas care about is the $$$ but Randy, Chad and Nicole care about the quality of their services most. Sure, they are in business to make money but their pride of workmanship is second to none for repairs and their willingness to try to accomodate peoples needs says a lot about who they are. They treat people like they would expect to be treated.

They need more staff! But otherwise it's a nice place to keep your boat in the summer. Don't winterize with the mobile mechanic here. It's not done well.
