Absolutely appalled but the utter lack of professionalism experienced here. Obviously, hearing aids in North America are extremely expensive in relation to manufacturing costs; see both the CBC and NYTs articles written on this in recent years, but it seems that this local is particularly bad. They will push the most expensive option on you and become hostile and rude when any concerns are raised. My mother who has early signs of dementia has complained about the quality of the product purchased from this place for years, (for $5000 I might add, and which they later admitted to us was included with a defective charger) to a point where her visits needed to become supervised. I want the best care for my mother and would have no problem paying for it, but you should not trust the staff here to be objective, they are a business and want your money, no matter how kind of a veneer they put forward . If you want to discuss hearing aid options in a healthy environment free of pressure and toxicity, then try another business in HRM, because this one completely lacks any semblance of professionalism.

Expensive but fantastic service.

I visited the HIA yesterday and once I found it was very pleased with the procedure done there. I was in and out in 10 mins! I would recommend Dr. Cameron, but ask HIA to put up a notice on ground floor as to where they are. It had been removed by the bldg because of renovations.

My husband, a veteran, suffers from severe PTSD, accompanied him, today 10 February, 2022, as his caregiver, for a hearing exam as well as a tinnitus determination. Was told that I could not accompany him for his test, also they lost his intake document which I had completed the day before detailing his mental health challenges. The test did not go well and the staff berated him for allegedly not following instructions, he left despondent and now am faced with a completely avoidable crisis. Shame on you Hearing Institute Atlantic.

My care worker was Very knowledgeable.very helpful. I'm pleased with the service.

I went for my ear checkup. The appointment process was pretty straightforward and the Dr. Was very polite and friendly. I was happy with the ear test and the results.

Really helpful and patient staff..They tried their best to treat me, though it took number of visits but finally they did a fantastic work. Special thanks to Dr. DANENA MacDonald..she was patient enough to treat me.
