Ripplecove Hôtel & Spa

A marvelous hotel, professionally run in an idyllic location. The staff are among the best I have experienced. Two fireplaces in the bar and another in a reading room on the main floor are welcoming and a make for a pleasant place for a glass of wine, to read or simply enjoy the view of the lake. There are guest rooms with fireplaces, although we were not in one of these rooms. The restaurant is deserving of its high rating. The food and service are excellent. Just spent four wonderful days here. We were delighted at the service and amenities this place provides. We felt welcomed from the get go. Extra points for the room upgrade, very unexpected but most certainly appreciated all around. Our heartfelt Thank You's to Mr. Stephane, and the day shift staff on our arrival/departure! Fatima added a special touch guiding us to our room. Enjoyed the Kayaks as much as possible. We are looking forward to another stay when time and circumstances permit.

Booked using my credit card points- I would have been upset if I paid full price for this stay. I got the room above their reception- could hear voices well after 10pm. Bed was not even a standard queen size. I believe there are various amenities but none of this was explained upon check-in. Beautiful area but would not really recommend staying here.

An absolute gem. Gorgeous views over the lake. Friendly attentive service throughout. …and oo la la the Food. Just wow. Especially the oysters, Foie gras, scallops and venison. Extraordinary wine selection. The ambience and Je ne sais quoi made our celebration fantastic. TY

As we come back from our wonderful wedding weekend, we would like to write how much we appreciated our stay at Ripplecove. The installations, the ambiance, our room, everything was absolutely perfect. You will not be disappointed by Le Riverain, where you will get the amazing culinary experience promised by the Ripplecove. We would like to thank M. Roy for his amazing customer care during our dinner on Sunday. We will for sure be back and will enjoy celebrating our wedding anniversary at Ripplecove in the future. Thank you for everything!

Such a charming beautiful hotel. Only stayed one night. Hotel is newly renovated and is hidden in a very serene area. Beautiful view of the lake and common area. Too bad it was raining so we didn’t get the chance to walk around the village.

It is unfortunate but sometimes one aspect of a stay makes the whole experience rather negative. We booked a superior room with a view on the lake but there was a piece of wallpaper hanging from the wall and some mildew in the bathroom. You would think a 5-star establishment would make sure that their rooms are in pristine condition.

My friend and I booked a package that included a massage, dinner and breakfast. The woman at the spa was amazing, as were the meals. My review is based on our room (#8), which overlooked orange construction cones, piles of piping, and plywood sheets covering water soaked pavement. We didn't chose a lake view room, but I didn't expect our window to face rubble and building supplies. The hotel didn't look anywhere close to full (we were there mid-week), so I'm surprised they would put us in the room they did. As other reviewer's have mentioned, we also heard the music that was piped into the common areas. At least it was soothing jazz, so did not bother us. Overall a lovely experience, but points deducted for not giving us a room with a better view - even if it was not the water side - when the hotel was clearly not anywhere close to capacity.Response to owner:It is reassuring to know that our less than five star experience will be used to ensure future guests are treated better. However, it shouldn't take a google review to draw attention to the fact that guests should not be directed to a room with a view of building supplies when there are other options. This should be a given. If I am travelling in the area again, I will try another option.

We stayed in November 2022 and were so impressed.Our suite was fully furnished with all necessary amenities and 2 bedrooms. We loved the outdoor patio with lounge and dining areas and a beautiful view of Lac Massawippi.We also enjoyed the rooftop patio with lounge areas and 2 hot tubs overlooking the lake.We stayed with our young children and Le Riverain restaurant was very accommodating and prepared special meals for each of them.We were blown away by the quality of the meal and the service as well. The sommelier provided an outstanding wine recommendation. From the starter to the dessert, we thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience.The next morning, we ordered breakfast in the room. All meals were served warm and were fresh and very tasty. I had the salmon Benedict and loved the hollandaise, fruit and pastries.I cannot rave enough about our stay. The location, the food and the service were very impressive. We will most certainly be back!

We booked a night at the Ripplecove Hotel to celebrate our anniversary. From the moment we arrived we were treated as welcome guests. We stayed in room 39, a lakefront room with a balcony, fireplace , sitting room and spa-like bathroom. It was the loveliest room with elegant decor. The king bed was perfect in the comfort of the mattress and the bedding. The entire room was exceptionally clean. The view of lake was so amazing that we never closed the drapes and we watched the sun set and then rise the next morning, the sparkling lake just adding to the charm of the location. We wandered through the property and noted all of the activities that hotel has to offer. We sat at the gas fireplace on the lakefront patio and enjoyed the view and peace. We did not eat in the restaurant but the menu was fantastic. We enjoyed a romantic celebration with a wonderful bottle of wine in our room! We hope to come back for a longer stay. A special recognition to Angelique Thierry (Guest Customer Manager) who went out of her way to provide us with a beautiful room and recognition of our anniversary. This property has so much to offer!
