Best Western Plus Kamloops Hotel

I have stayed at this hotel many times and always been satisfied until the last visit(labor day weekend). The rooms are good, the staff is courteous and helpful but the area has deteriorated immensely since my last visit. There are homeless camps around the hotel, many transients moving around. The security at the hotel seems to be non existent. There are many posters telling how to reduce break and enter in your vehicle. My vehicle was broken into. There was nothing in it. Windows were broken and the interior was trashed.Better security for guests and belongings is required.It is true there are no homeless camps on the hotel property, but they are on surrounding property's. Security may have been upgraded in 2021 but is clearly inadequate now. Stay at your own risk

I have stayed here before but I will not stay again. Charged 286 (with discount!). Room had multiple led lights in appliances and outlet that glowed all night. Smoke detector light was so bright I could see my shadow in the dark. Climate control roared into life every 10 minutes or so. For 286 dollars I expect to be able to sleep

We stayed here for 10 days while a family member was in the Kamloops hospital. I can't say enough good things about the staff. A nice clean pet friendly hotel. But the front desk staff were super helpful and friendly. Breakfast team was great - good hearty hot breakfasts. Cleaning and maintenance team were great. I would highly recommend a stay here.

Staff was super friendly and attentive. Really enjoyed their care for customerRoom was good. When I first went in, it looked like the bedsheets and blankets had not been changed. I spoke to the front desk they apologized and took care of it. They were so kind and owned up to it and I really appreciate it. Nothing bad to say!

The front desk deserves alot of cudos. Welcoming they were. There are food services within short distance ... reasonable for sure. I have stayed here many times. It works on the way from here to there and if you have things to do in the meantime. People are great.

This hotel is very family friendly and has the biggest rooms that we have stayed in making it very comfy for a family with children and a baby. They have a Trailer friendly parking lot that’s very spacious. The morning breakfast is decent with a good variety. The only Downfall is that the beds & sheets are not the comfiest for the price of the room.

It's a great place to stay. Loved the view from the room. Looked out across the valley at night.Bit out of the way from main highway.but worth the few extra minutes to have a quiet location.

Comforter had urine stains and smells on it. There were two employees on staff but I was asked to bring down the dirty comforter to the front desk. Not something I wanted to be doing but everyone was very friendly during my stay, and the breakfast was surprisingly good with a huge selection.

We were in town for a two-night stay and we enjoyed our time at the Best Western. The rooms were roomy, comfortable and very clean. We made use of the pool and hot tub and were pleased with the breakfast selections. Reasonable rates and close to many shops and the highway. We will be back for another stay in the future.
