What a great place to get your family’s skates sharpened. It is like a hockey museum. Worth going there just to check out the walls of hockey history, souvenirs, jerseys, pictures. They all have a story behind them. They sharpened our 4 sets of skates in a hour. Most other stores will tell you to come back tomorrow. Thanks Cliff and Don. Glad I found you in SE Calgary. Cliff is wonderful; we only take our 3 boys skates to him and his staff. He’s friendly, full of advice and just loves hockey. He’s helped us with blade selections; and does the flair blades on our oldest skates. He’s quick and always does a fantastic job

I stopped into StickFix based on a conversation with a peer coach, to see if I could replace my 25yr old skate blades. I cannot say enough about how awesome the service from Cliff was. He didn't immediately have two replacement blades but vowed to find them for me. Within 4 working hours he messaged me back with the great news. I was blown away by Cliff's amazing customer service, support and knowledge. This was my first visit but certainly won't be my last.

I will now only go to Cliff for skate sharpens and sticks, one of the sticks i got two years ago just broke and for 70$ senior stick that is fixed, very surprised it lasted that long. Always does that right sharpen only charges 8$ vs hockey life that charges 12 or 15 ish. Also much better quality then the big chains. Highly recommend trying this place if you don’t like getting ripped off at other places

Not sure words can describe. Best place I’ve ever been for skate sharpening not to mention the repair that was done on my goalie stick. If you don’t come here you don’t know hockey.

My experience with Stix Fix is top notch. You ask and they are honest and do great work! Fixed a snapped shaft of my goalie stick. Just recently custom built me. Took them a stick with broken shaft and a shaft with no blade. Works fantastic! That is the stick in the pic.

Cliff is simply 'the subject matter expert' in skate blades, and hockey tech in Alberta. I had heard good things for years and then had the opportunity to get my son's skates done there. Excellent service, superior knowledge, great stories and an understanding of what will give my son a bit of an edge in skating. Highly recommend Cliff, and certainly glad to have been able to visit from Edmonton.

Cliff is one of the nicest people I have ever met! His knowledge and skill is incomparable to any other. My stick was repaired within a short time period and Cliff even gave me a free skate sharpening.Watching Cliff sharpen my skates was very unusual because he actually cares about the result. I have been looking for the right hollow and his sharpen was extremely professional and felt great- you would be hard pressed to find this good of a sharpen else where.I will never buy a stick any where else as he has a fantastic selection of new and repaired sticks for sale at fantastic price. It can be hard for me to find the right stick and Cliff has quite the selection available. Cliff is amazing! I went here based on other reviews and was still shocked at how great it was. Easy to tell why he has so many loyal customers and fans. This is my go to in Calgary from now on!

I had Cliff give me a quote for my Santa Cruz mountain bike to fix the carbon fiber damage on my frame from a huge rock. I dropped the bike off Friday and he called Monday to say it was finished. I believe he said it would be done Tuesday and I thought that was quick. Very nice fellow and is very accommodating. He is not running his business out of greed. He seems to be a person that is extremely passionate about what he does. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone of my friends that need help with a broken bike frame. As if this was not already awesome, he threw in a free skate sharpening when I asked if he did them. I was only inquiring about the price and was going to pay for it. I can see why people give him awesome reviews.One note about people needing mountain bike repair on the frame. Cliff can try to match the paint from your bike but if you have an exotic colour like my bike it might be difficult to make it look good. For my bike it was under the bottom bracket where the paint was 95% black and the paint was easy to match. Cliff was upfront about everything when he gave me a quote. It's not perfect like it was out of the factory but I'm putting a Rock Guardz carbon fiber protector on the bike before I ride it again. I only care that the bike is structurally sound and Cliff guarantees that part. Thanks for helping me save hundreds of dollars on my very expensive bike.I posted the before and after pics to see what a great job he did.
