Westside Cafe

During a day trip to Inverness Beach, we decided to stop by the Westside Cookhouse for a bite to eat. The place has baked goods, coffee as well as meal items. We chose to have lunch and ordered the two piece Fish and Chips as well as the Reuben sandwich. Service was fast, courteous and portions were huge. The meal was hot, fresh and filling. Also - the gravy you can get with the fries - amazing. I've not had anything like it from a restaurant. Would highly recommend, will go to again if and when I'm back in the area. Thanks!

Beautiful interior, delicious whole wheat bread, very tasty homemade treats (Westside turtle, German brownie, and lemon square were highly rated by my family), and friendly staff. Would love to go back if we are around!

Amazing breakfast. Eggs benedict is a classic, and it was very well done here. Very enjoyable. Came back and got some fudge to take back to the West Coast.

We are here today and the service was amazing! The onion rings were cooked to perfection! And I personally ordered the Chicken Alfredo, which was good. The chicken was bursting with flavor! My only complaints about our dining experience would be that having the vegetables (tomato and peppers) in the Alfredo tasted a bit odd, and the sauce that came with the onion rings was overpowering the taste of the rings themselves. I was also disappointed with my dessert (Apple Crisp Bar) it tasted more like an Apple Cheesecake and honestly it was a weird combination. BUT with that being said the Butterscotch Pie was to die for! And my daughter said that the Lemon Bar was amazing! I highly reccomend this place. We felt right at home our entire visit :) and we will definitely be back in the future!

This is one of the places that we decided to try on my wife's bosses opinion, I don't know if he loves the beer, but I will say that I was really unimpressed with the burger and fries I got, the burger had no flavor at all, I mean I can't even tell you how much it tasted like nothing.I don't think I will ever return here, it was still fairly new, so I might try it once it's more established, but I don't think that will happen.

The first time I was there is was still owned by the golf resort and it seemed to be a much more happening" place back then even though Inverness is busier now. Not sure why? The room was kind of cold and they were short staffed. The waitress that they did have was very good and friendly. Food was so so."

What a great atmosphere and Baked foodies. Breakfast and lunch here twice. Wifi is fantastic and muchly needed as continue to plans our adventures in the area. Thank you all very much for your yummy food and great service. Bev n Woody from Florida USA

Randomly walked into this place. Was really craving some lobster. I have to say it was one of the best lobsters I've ever had. The texture was so soft that it melted into my mouth. They also have coffee and desserts here. If you're around town I highly recommend you check this place out.

Food was to die for. We were served by Alex and if you get the chance, sit in her section. She was fabulous and helped us with all the questions we had. Club sandwich was not dry and was simply AMAZING. The nachos are made on potatoes and let me tell you, phenomenal. The lobster wrap was juicy and filled with flavors and if you love chicken burgers, it will not disappoint. The mozza sticks are by far the best ive ever had. Everything is made in house and you can tell by the taste of the food. We purchased some baked goods to go and wow... amazing!!! Thank you Alex and Cindy for your hospitality.

Somewhere at the intersection of a cafe, dinner, and bakery. Very good for this style of restaurant. Great staff and food.
