Affordable Cremation & Burial helped with every step along the way and made the process, which was new to me, simple and worry free. Choices were presented without sales pitches and all communications were thoughtful and respectful. They also provided all the paperwork I needed to notify government agencies etc. which was very much appreciated. I hope not to use their service again for a long time but won’t hesitate to when needed. Highly recommended.

All of the staff at Affordable Cremation & Burial (Westshore) were exceptionally kind, understanding, accommodating, and helpful during a difficult time for our family. Lauren was incredibly attentive and responsive to inquiries and requests. Joseph and the other office staff were easy to speak with, answered all our questions, and were always very flexible when we needed to stop by.The service provided was also exceptional. We never felt pressure to purchase add-ons or have our service at the Affordable facility (though it is quite lovely). The online Book of Memories was an excellent perk, which we made great use of. The additional information, with associated links, on how to navigate government notifications/paperwork was also greatly appreciated.

The staff at Affordable Cremation & Burial were incredibly professional, understanding and patient during the arrangements process for my father. Understandably it was a difficult time, but I found the staff's demeanour helped to put me at ease. They were extremely organized and took care of all of the details big and small. Joseph from Affordable Cremation made the whole process of making arrangements for the cremation of my Mom very easy. It's a tough time to have to deal with all of this, but Joseph and the rest of the team were very kind, considerate, and supportive. The responses to any questions or requests were extremely fast. I'd highly recommend them to anyone needing assistance in taking care of a loved one who has passed.

Joseph and everyone else I dealt with at Affordable was wonderful; warm and yet efficient. And with so many things to do after the death of my mother I appreciated that all the documents could be signed digitally. Communication was clear and quick.

When my partner died, as members of the Memorial Society of BC, we were referred to two organizations and chose Affordable Cremation and Burial Ltd. The folks with whom we spoke were professional, thoughtful and efficient in providing assistance, guidance and services at the time of my partner's death.Most of my interactions were with Lauren Priest who was helpful and responsive in all our negotiations. The arrangements for cremation were made in a timely manner and we were given flexibility as to when her body would be transported. This gave us time to visit once again and have her body prepared. Lauren was knowledgeable about forms, gave me clear instructions on how they were to be completed and offered alternative ways for the forms to be submitted when I ran into computer difficulties.I would highly recommend this organization for its thoughtful, compassionate and efficient services.

Very knowledgeable and helpful staff, treating me with kindness at every turn. It was also lowest priced cremation on the Island, without exception. Treated Rev Fearon with utmost dignity at all stages of the cremation process, and sent the ashes on time for the Memorial Service in Nanaimo.i won't hesitate in recommending Affordable Cremation & Burial Ltd. in the future. They are the best!
