Mr Transmission at 28 Kennedy , Brampton. Dishonest people. If I could dissuade even 1 person from taking their vehicle here it was worth the post.First let me note that they did a proper job with the transmission. No issues there.Complaints:Up-charged twice during work in progress. We did not complain about this. (Company vehicle not mine so I don’t care)They messed up our hood release cable. And were stupid enough to pull it all the way back into the vehicle. And tried to tell us the cable was always like that. But their own junior staff admitted that they tugged on the cable, it disengaged and they pulled it all the way.. so now the cable is all on the driver seat.Vehicle makes a new noise in front when going over bumps. Could have to do with when they disconnected the mounts or drive shaft and reinstalled. But we don’t know for sure. Could be coincidence too.However, They chose to resolve these concerns by not addressing them at all and sent out a belligerent staff screaming that we are insulting his intelligence by pointing these things out. The same staff that lied about wrecking the hood release cable and pulled the entire cable into the vehicle cabin, is concerned about his intelligence being called into question.So I thought I would share this post so that maybe we can dissuade a couple of people from visiting this location.We will also be engaging Lubrico warranty about this occurrence as the repair was done under warranty with them.

Brian was very professional and patiently answered all my questions so I could understand them. Our 2008 Mazda CX-9 now has a bit more life left in it, so that will buy us some time to make a replacement without being pressured. Besides, we like the Mazda quite a bit; it is fun to drive. If I get a late-model car in the future, I will remember from now on to change the transmission oil every 2 years. One of the useful tips Brian shared with me.

So this isn't a knock on the service they provide, this review is based on the fact that it's been three weeks and they have not completed work as they are waiting for parts that are being shipped from the USA. They have been professional and have done their best to keep me updated, but three weeks without a vehicle has been a challenge for me and my family. And to think about the amount of money I will have to spend when the work is complete, is a frustrating thought. I only hope they can give me a discount of some sort due to the inconvenience this has all caused me. Also the hours are insane, they are not open on weekends, and they close at 5pm. I work until 7pm and I find it a challenge to call to obtain an update. If I have the same transmission issue in the future I am not sure I would use the same company, as the service times are not great. I'm not sure if this is an industry issue stemming from Covid due to labor and parts shortages but this is ridiculous. Consumers do your research before using any company for major auto repairs.

The guys were very knowledgeable about the repair of my differential on my truck. It was done in a very professional and timely manner. Much appreciated. I would highly recommend this shop to anyone in need of repairs to their vehicle. Bob Snell

I took my car to Mr Transmission because I was told I needed a new Transmission. they looked at my car, and said its only miss-firing and there are no error codes for the transmission. They were very easy to work with and very helpful. I would recommend them to anyone who may have a transmission issue

Stafford was extremely professional from start to finish and made me feel comfortable that I was in good hands. Took my 2016 Nissan Sentra to multiple places and either got outrageous quotes or incorrect diagnosis. Stafford and the team were very knowledgeable about exactly what the issues were and were upfront about it all with no shadiness. They also got the car towed from Nissan to their shop, free of charge. The diagnostic was free of charge as well. Both fees were waived because I got the work done by them. Now my car runs very smooth, better than it has in years. 10/10 would recommend these guys!

Dont trust these guys they will rip you off. If you have an electric issue, they willMake sure they will tell you its a rebuild and charge you 10x the cost. Ask for a formal quote they say no ask your insurance to call us. Wow!!!

Where do I even start… I dropped my Jeep there over a month ago and just got it back today for what should have been a simple fix. While picking it up and finished paying they had informed me that my vehicle was broken into…. Here’s the kicker it was broken into on Nov 3!!! They did not tell me a thing for 13 days!!! The lack of honesty and transparency is disgusting! I would not trust them with any of my vehicles! I warn anybody from using this shop! Horrible area to own a business with cars that repeatedly get broken into! Now no discount or regard from them I have to go through my insurance. SMH. Would give them no stars if I could.
