Angela has great customer service skills. Great selection of clothes. Better than Theme Maternity. She continued to check in with me every few minutes. I'll definitely go back.

I like the clothing and the prices much better than thyme but honestly the woman working there is not friendly and gets angry and snooty when you dont like the way something fits. She has ZERO customer service skills and honestly if you're going to work in a store for pregnant women and new mothers you should probably have some patience and customer service skills not be rude and abrasive. I am super disappointed in my experiences at this store.

I can't believe what poor service. I just discovered the Motherhood chain 2 weeks ago while I was home in Moncton NB, where the service was amazing. I bought a bunch of dresses and two nursing bras. So I tried the bras recently (back in Toronto). I am not nursing yet, but the ladies are getting bigger. One of them has a defect. There is a hard bit that sticks out from the stitching near the claps and makes the bras really uncomfortable, essentially unwearable. I called this store to explain and to see if they could exchange it for a non defective one. The lady, who claims she was the manager, was not at all friendly or nice. I tried to explain the issue and she just curtly said, so have you worn It? I said yes of course I wore it that's how I realize there was an issue. I wouldn't have noticed otherwise. She said well we don't exchange worn clothing it's not sanitary. I said look it's not like you could resell this product I am telling you it is defective. You should be sending it back to the manufacturer and getting a refund yourself. She just kept repeating the same thing and really not aknowledging or showing any understandng of the problem. I said so you are telling me you don't do anything for a customer if you sell a defective product? She just said the same thing again. The lady was really not nice at all (based on from her tone) and I mean from hello before she knew what the call was about right up until I hung up just not pleasant. So I called Motherhood in NB and explained and they said they would fix it of course! It happens that my brother is visiting. So I have to give it to him, to give to my mom, to exchange in NB, to then give to my sister to bring back to me when she visits next month. Pretty ridiculous. And this lady lost out because I need more maternity clothes. My hope was to exchange it here and then do some shopping at the same time. So I hope she reads this and is satisfied with losing what would have likely been about $200 or more in sales.

Customer service was good. Picked up a pair of pants that were marked for 14.99 and had 50% off. Manager of owner not sure, said the correct price should be 19.99 only 5 dollars more and originally refused to honor the price I saw. She then said the computer won't let her give me any more discount. They lost my business and respect.

I went to motherhood Canada at 6045 Mavis Rd location today, sales women was so rude. I went there to do my maternity shopping and was looking for sizes but she came to starting shouting loudly that you cannot look for sizes like that. You have to ask me for help. When I went to showroom I asked her for help and she said everything is on display. Just because I likes some of clothes, I tolerated her rudeness and thought let me just ignore her. I starting looking for maternity bras and she came and stand right in front of me and not allowing me to look at bras. This was not my first time shopping in Canada but this is the first time I have found someone as rude as her. I was so so much disturbed by her behaviour that I left everything that I had to buy on the counter. I donot why showrooms employ such people who donot want to work. Really sad experience. People like her should be definitely fired.Aakriti

The clothes are nice but the stuff is very rude and not attentive at all. Expect no help+arrogance and ignorance from the only person who works there with absolutely no customer service skills. Look around for other stores, they are like 5 min from this horrible place. I feel bad for expecting mothers....

I called here a few months ago to see if they had some nursing bras in stock because I needed to exchange the ones I bought online since they are too big. I only tried them on as soon as I received them, I did NOT wear them, wash them, or remove any tags yet as I wasn't sure about my size since the bras are all XS - XL and not based on cup and waist sizing. I followed the sizing chart and ordered the recommended size, but of course they did not fit. When I called the store explaining the situation the woman on the phone refused to let me bring them in to do a straight exchange even though they had all of the exact same bras in the size I needed. She told me that because I bought them online and received a discount she would have to make me return them in store and repurchase them at FULL PRICE thus losing my discount and being forced to spend an extra $30. I ended up just keeping the bras even though they offer no support whatsoever since I live almost an hour away and we don't have Motherhood Maternity in the town I live in and I'm not about to spend the gas money plus the extra money they're trying to swindle me out of since they refuse to do a simple straight exchange. It honestly seems like they're just hurting for sales at this location and that's why they didn't want to do an exchange. WORST customer service I've experienced in a long time.

I went to the Heartland store for the first time with hope to find a nursing bra and night shirt. Within minutes I had a pushy sales woman Angela C emp# 097416, trying to force me into a bra that was clearly never going to fit. After explaining that I wouldn't be buying g the bra I settled on a night shirt with cost almost $60. A few days later i went to return the item as i had found a similar one for a lesser price, I was told I wouldn't be able to return it because she believed it had been worn. The item in question never touched my body. As a matter of fact it never left the bag that sat in the back seat of my car. An argument proceeded with her giving every excuse in the book as to why she couldn't return it ( all excuses changing ever time) until she finally did it. I have never had such bad customer service in my life. I will never return here and hope that no one has to deal with this woman and get the same treatment as I did.

Went in few months ago looking for maternity jeans with hubby. There were two associates by the counter, just chatting away like no tomorrow, not paying attention to us or any other customer for that matter.We went through bunch of jeans, not knowing which ones to pick. I`ve never needed these special tummy supporting ones before, so would have appreciated some help or at least advice. Finally just went ahead and randomly crabbed few different styles and sizes to try on, as we were both getting fuzzy. We spent at least an hour in the store with nobody asking if we need help or if we`re finding things alright.Store has a great potential, as they`re packed with great things. I`m not going back though. There are other options close by, with great service. Look around.
