I was really happy with purchasing our male GSD puppy from Wendelin Farms, dealing with Christina from start to finish was incredible. Best customer service one can expect and quickly replied to any questions afterwards that I had, however I felt I can only give a fair, objective and complete review after a year from our purchase, just to see how the dog turned out. It has now been a year since our guy came home and as a 14 month old from the Norik/Hakova October 1/21 litter, he has met all expectations, high drive, super muscular and strong. He is highly intelligent, high toy driven and fearless, will easily learn anything you throw at him. Christina has matched him perfectly for what I requested. I highly recommend Wendelin Farms if you’re looking for a top line CKC registered GSD.

Only place id ever go to get another GSD. I have an all black female that is now just over 2 years old. Fantastic dog, great temperament and an amazing family dog. Freya is amazing with my kids (3years old and 14months old). She has a drive like no other, is always on guard when outside on the property and is always keeping an eye on the kids. Id recommend Christina and her dogs a million times over. The 6hr drive was well worth it for our amazing family member that looks after our property and family.

Top notch breeder of GSDs. Our boy is as sweet and playful at 5 years as he was when he was a puppy. Great temperment with a high prey/food drive that makes working with him very easy. No health problems at all at 5 and only just starting to show a slight grey around the muzzle. Keep up the great work and thank you for one of the best dogs I've ever had the pleasure of owning!

We picked up a male solid black GSD from Bakira/Goron litter and we are very happy with him. He is healthy, strong, and beautiful with a high drive to work. Also has a great off switch. They have a very well organized and clean farm. All dogs are very well trained and treated well. Christina takes great care of her dogs and all have excellent pedigrees. They are very professional and are very trust worthy. My husband and I actually reside in the Greater Toronto Area (420 km away from Christinas farm) and driving up there was well worth it :)

I highly recommend Wendelin Farm for anyone looking for a high-quality GSD.After months of going over pedigrees and communicating with Christina (She was incredibly patient and answered any questions I had), I finally chose the Sire & Dam I wanted a pup from and put down a deposit. I couldn’t be happier with my puppy out of the Norik x Xeehna litter!! She is amazing in every way, and is exactly what I wanted and more. She has her own flaws, but she is still very young, so that is to be expected. Thank you so much Wendelin!!! Very excited to see what this pup will accomplish in life!

Overall experience with this breeder was fairly poor. At 6 months old our male puppy was diagnosed with elbow dysplasia. Reached out to the breeder at first for information and help on how to proceed and deal with this issue, responses were few and far between. After taking our dog to the specialist to confirm it was elbow dysplasia I emailed requesting a refund as we did not want to ship him back and receive another puppy. Breeders response was they do not offer full refunds for this and was rather insulted by the request. There was a big communication break down which resulted in some not so friendly communication as they refused to assume any responsibility and placed the blame of the genetic issue on us saying they never have these issues with their dogs and we caused the issue by feeding kibble, over exercising, having slippery flooring in our home, or due to his weight (Our vet and the specialist stated he was healthy weights at all trips and check ups). We requested money back due to having a dog that is going to require extra care, more vet trips and overall doesn't fit our active lifestyle. We felt because they would send another puppy (which also has no guarantee of these issues) that asking for a refund in full for the price of the dog (not the shipping or HST) instead was suitable given the circumstances.We were also made aware of someone who had a puppy from the same litter who had to be put down due to a genetic issues.

Have a great working dog from this breeder. Got his TD at 6 mos and 1 day and is training to be a SAR K9. Selected by the owner for me and she was 100% in the selection. Thank you Christina
