Average products and mediocre customer service. If your order is simple and does not require the teller to think too much, everything goes fine. There was only one other customer behind me in the queue, so they were not supposed to feel overwhelmed. Three different employees found the time to intimidate me into giving up my kind request to slice a full sausage that I bought from them and that I wanted to eat on the Market's terrace with a fresh bagel. They did not want to explain why that particular sausage was the only sausage they could not slice from their entire collection of sausages.. Was there something wrong with that type of sausage? The oldest one explained to me that he sets the rules there". The whole experience reminded me of the arrogance of some of the restaurateurs in Paris who expect customers to be thankful that are granted the privilege to give them their money. Luckily there are other places with similar average or better sausages in the metro area and with much better customer service.. ;-)"

Fantastic products. I'm French and being able to retrieve a part of the French gastronomy in Vancouver is just paradise. The products are amazing and the long line is a great testimony of the quality. We're trying to go there once a week to buy our meat for the week and it's so hard to resist and not buying everything haha. Special mention to one of the clerks (an Asian guy, sorry I don't know his name) who delivers an outstanding service!! If I could put more stars I would! The jambon des Aimes and the truffle pâté are the best ham and pâté I have ever eaten in my life!

Obama is one of the gems in Granville island. It's a charcuterie. They make all their own meats free of any additives and copious amounts of love. The beautiful part about that is all the negative news you hear about processed meats and meat in tube form, don't apply to the products sold here. Also the price point for free from" meat sold at regular grocers are about 25% higher per 100gm than Oyama..... I love this place especially their Rillettes."

Great selection of meats and cheeses. Their duck Prosciutto is amazing. Must try! I also really enjoy their prosciutto.

I loved this place where I found so many options for charcuterie! Pâtés, duck products, saucisson (dry sausage), boudin, sausages. Great quality at a reasonable price.I was just not happy with the service I received with someone who was super pushy and was looking clearly annoyed when I wanted to take the time to look at everything (it was my first time) and I knew I wanted to buy lots because I live 5 hours away! Too bad but still a great place I highly recommend.

When the words “”care and quality are used”” it is with a business like Oyama Sausage Company that these words are easily used..upon entering this very attractive space on Granville Island, the visual appeal of the specially prepared ingredients of the quality charcuterie of the hams, sausages and salami to name but a few of their products that are available..our order frequently includes a specialty fresh sausage and a great tasting Mushroom Armagnac pate….we took home a bison dish which was delicious with every bite..the staff are super helpful..their experiments with seasonal ingredients is worth a visit..we very frequently sit on our back deck to relax and totally enjoy the atmosphere that the Oyama Sausage Company creates with their exceptional products with our green space..

I would give them 10 stars if I could. The staff is always helpful and courteous. I love a full English breakfast and this is my destination for Black Pudding, White Pudding, Bacon and Sausages. Their selection on English / Irish cheeses and other deli products is exceptional. It is a must destination for deli lovers.
