My Design Studio

Me and my wife( madusudan and Chaitanya) had a excellent experience at My Design Studio, Alex was our designer and he was amazing, and the place was really attractive Alex understood my needs and made me comfortable enough that I trusted him to take the models and designs . Alex was exceptionally professional He went above on beyond to make sure we were happy with our home design and even had it professionally cleaned and and all necessities in place as soon as we moved in. We are so so happy with Alex and would recommend him without any reservations to anyone who wants a trustworthy Alex!

It has been a long process of involving with My Design Studio since beginning of structural upgrades until color chart selections as the project got delayed but luckily we had quite enough time to know each and everyone involved in My design studio and we were lucky to have ALEX as our consultant, he is professional, knowing his stuff, approachable, kind and will walk with you through every step of the way.I just wanted to thank everyone and above all thank Alex for such a pleasant experience.

My wife and I, recently had the pleasure of working with My Design Studio and their designer Rhiana.Our builder contracted My Design Studio to provide the Decor Selection for our newly built home/community. From the warm greeting we received from Marisa when we arrived, until the final moment when you leave, their entire team was amazing. Our designer Rhiana was friendly, professional, honest, very attentive, and listened to our vision.Although she had many other clients as well to work with, it never felt like we were not important. She answered all our questions and concerns within a quick time frame; which exceeded our expectations.We are excited to receive the keys to our new home to see our vision/dream become a reality.We thank Rhiana and My Design Studio for making this a wonderful experience.

Overall great experience with the team @ My Design Studio! Alex, our design consultant was professional, knowledgeable, and showed great patience while we designed our new home. Should you like to feel comfortable and at ease while making very important decisions for your new home make sure you visit Alex!

As a first time new build buyer my experience with this business was extremely off putting. I understand the sales people’s job is to push for their commissions but I felt during my time there I was basically pitted against the neighbours who bought the same style home as our family.Let’s start from the beginning on arrival it was a nice touch to have our name on the display if only our last name was spelled correctly. We are then introduced to salesman Alex who explains this meeting is strictly structural and electrical which is great. He then shows us the plans for the neighbours house two lots down who have done upwards of $300,000 in upgrades, followed by our neighbour beside us whom have also done upwards of $160,000. Which is wonderful, good for them but unlike those people not everyone can afford that much in upgrades nor does it feel good when the salesman is showing you this to try and entice you purchase upgrades. I get that’s your job but some tact should be used.At the end of all the upgrades we were pretty much bullied into choosing a mere $50,000, we assumed we could roll it straight into the mortgage which Alex them informed us we would need to put 25% down; that had been noted in the email sent by the company(which it was not) At this point I’m on the verge of tears, I tell him to forget the plans and we will take the house as is he looks at me and says so we’ve just wasted an hour and a half. Yes Alex we have plus the hour we drove to get to the design centre. At this point I left the building and wait for my husband in the car whom did pay the deposit.We are meant to go back to chose the interiors of the house, after that visit I won’t be back. Buying a home is supposed to be exciting this interaction has completely ruined the experience. I feel the salesman should learn to read his clients a little better and maybe not assume everyone is a millionaire. Should you like to feel like the smallest, low income family on the block make sure you visit Alex.

We had an excellent experience at My Design Studio, Alex was our designer and he was amazing, super patient and not pushy at all! he shared his knowledge with us and guided us in the right direction - getting what we want! The appointments are long for a reason, they go through everything we need to know without a rush. Plus the place is super cool to be in! Thanks again Alex!

Horrible experience. They were connected with my new build condo. Their pricing made absolutely no sense. Someone with the exact same unit was quoted much different prices than what I was quoted for the exact same things. Ive been now trying to get ahold of somewhere there for almost a year and no answer. Absolutely never use their services. There staff has no idea what they are doing and the person I sat down with had no training in design.

I usually do not care for writing reviews. However, I do appreciate and must share my outstanding experience at My Design Studio. My girlfriend and I were first time home buyers who were reluctant at first to do our home upgrades. We had the pleasure of meeting and working with Alex who is very knowledgeable and transparent with the vision we had and pricing respectively. He was able to help us understand how the builder could accommodate our needs and shared thorough insight on the products they offered. During and towards the end of our meeting my girlfriend and I were excited about the decisions we made and feel confident our home will look phenomenal thanks to Alex's expertise.Our home has since closed and we are super excited with how it turned out. My Design Studio was very responsive to our questions and we always heard back from Alex. I hope our next project will involve the experts at My Design Studio!

My experience with My Design Studio has been extremely positive. I just wish that my general contractor had allowed me to have them involved in the process earlier because their ideas were far superior to the architectural technician's who did the plans.My key designer, Fay Steckler, has terrific ideas, colour and design sense as well as understanding the architecture. When I thought that some of the colours and ideas were not what I wanted, I have come back to agree with Fay in almost every instance.I have found the entire staff at My Design Studio to be extremely friendly and helpful. I would definitely work with them again and would recommend them to others.Wendy Banting
