I had the pleasure and privilege of attending a skills demonstration and awards presentation at Johanis' Karate a few years ago. I was impressed by the family friendly, respectful atmosphere. The staff were encouraging and very proud of their students. In turn, the students, young and older responded by exceeding their own self-expectations.In a world where we need more people to treat one another with respect, encouragement and dignity, Johanis' Karate has set a very high standard.

This place is fantastic. They are great with kids and provide perfect balance of learning and fun. Has quickly become my son's activity of choice thanks in very large part to everyone here and the positive environment they offer.Highly recommend!

Johanis' Karate School is a fun, energetic, family-friendly environment for training in both karate and jiu-jitsu. The programs enable physical fitness and confidence building while teaching self-defence. This martial arts school has a strong focus on developing the mind, body and spirit connection. My children and I have been members for over 10 years and have had tremendous success under the leadership at this school.

Johanis' Karate School Inc
My 10 year old son has been attending this school for over two years. In that time, he has learned so much and gained so much confidence in himself. The staff at this school have been wonderful, caring and friendly, and ensure that everyone has fun. I have been impressed in observing Sensei John and how he teaches both adults and children. I am very glad that my son attends this school of martial arts.I have seen other programs and as far as I'm concerned, this is one of the best!
