I ordered a rain jacket online for a good price. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I was pleasantly surprised.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. The staff were knowledgeable about the products and items i was interested in. It was also noted that if one team member didnt have answers, they didn't hesitate to ask another staff member for help. Great experience, well definitely shop here again.

Today, I was in search of rain pants. I parked at the back entrance to Sportchek to check for what I wanted because they were supposed to have it...for about 20 minutes I looked and what I will call an organized disaster and not once was I approached by any staff member.So, I went to Mark's which is usually my no-fail go-to. Well, went to and failed but not because of any effort on behalf of myself...mostly for the same reasons and same 20 minutes as Sportchek.I am about to leave when I spot ATMOSPHERE. I have never been into ATMOSPHERE previously but I said what the heck. Checking stuff out, everything seems to be pretty similar but they did have more pf a selection of each of the brands and all similarly priced. I was looking around for maybe 6 or 7 minutes when a pleasant young woman (that had previously been performing other store tasks and custoner duties) approached me and asked if she could offer any assistance. I told her I was looking for just some basic rain pants. She immediately showed me exactly what I was looking for without knowing it as we were in the right section...I just didn't see them because they were black and in the corner of the display, and then she showed me the locations of each of the other brands and spoke briefly to pricing. I went back to my original choice, picked out a better pair at the same price as the lower end pair because of a sale and it was in the correct size. Boom. Not even 10 minutes and I was heading to the checkout with something even better than what I was hoping to find. The young woman at the checkout was equally as helpful.Overall...The store was organized, reasonably stocked and clean.The young women that assisted me were;FriendlyPoliteCourteousHelpfulKnowledgeablePreciseProfessionalDressed appropriatelyEngaging as if this was just not another day of drudgery that was work.I left the store making sure to say thank you to each and relaying my appreciation for their help and effort.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff, pricing is fair and often great clearance prices

Great place for outdoor gear. Large variety of clothing for both men and women (no children's clothing or shoes unfortunately) and a great deal of accessories and gear. They carry Yeti and Hydroflask products for all your drinkware needs. I've also seen tents, camping gear, backpacks, hats, you name it. Because they carry premium brands their prices tend to reflect that, but you can get some pretty good sales if you wait.

Went in for new shoes, winter coat and some hiking pants. Stood in the shoe department for a half hour with my restless kid without any semblance of assistance. Since I can't just get the size of shoe I want, I was at their whim. After being by-passed a third time we left.

Best place for shopping outdoor gears in Regina.

I shop at Atmosphere regularly for all of my camping and outdoor gear. The staff there are great and provide friendly service and know their stuff. The store easily accessable from the mall as well as the parking lot.

The canoes and stuff look like fun. Bit out of my price range, though. And no, I will not be purchasing a pair of pants for $100. Seems pretty safe to ignore the clothing portion of the store, which takes up about 90% of the space. Unless you want to spend $100 on a single piece of clothing that isn't even particularly stylish, then I guess you can go ahead!

Lol I had such a BRUTAL experience trying to buy hiking boots here. The guy ignored us and would not offer to bring my size out. Store was DEAD, not the first time the same employee wouldn't help us. My husband and I were perplexed.I took a screenshot online of them and just drove over 2km to Cabela's. People at Cabela's customer service price matched them and sold them to me promptly with no issue and were sweet. They weren't surprised to hear about our issues at Atmosphere.Separate trip: picked up a water bottle to buy. Stood at the cashier counter, no line, had to wait 10 minutes for the two employees to help us, kind of just ignored me standing there. I guess they were enjoying chilling?I used to buy all my shoes/gear here back a couple years ago. Sad to see it go SOOO downhill. Much kinder to men than women.... do they even hire women?
