Canine Valley Wellness and Training Centre

My experience with Valley and her team has been beyond amazing and I can't say enough good things about Canine Valley! The depth of Valley's skills, knowledge and great respect and love of dogs is unsurpassed - her work with my dogs has been life changing and her insight has helped me become a better leader. Without hesitation, I would completely recommend Canine Valley!!***Update***Just had the opportunity to use their grooming services, twice for two different dogs, and absolutely thrilled with the results! One dog rolled in something and they immediately took us in and took care of him....and he smelled great for days!! The second dog was a huge Bernese that came to us ill groomed and matted and after what must have been a TON of work, he came out looking like a superstar!! Can't recommend Canine Valley enough, they are always wanting to do their best for you and your pets and go that extra mile.

Our dog Chewie actually loves going to get groomed here. We have had to carry him into grooming places in the past but he loves Canine Valley. He runs in and out smiling. The staff are lovely.

This is a very good place with friendly, professional staff and happy dogs. I did dog training with my puppy at another school in town and it was ok but this is the next level. If you want the best go to the best. Have done private training and also took my puppy in for grooming and Im very pleased. These guys just love dogs! Valley is like a female version of Cesar Millan, friendly but firm and very confident. Its amazing what she can do with dogs! Great answers to any questions I have. Also easy to communicate through text or email with her superstar side kick Maria. Thank you for being in Squamish:)

I highly recommend Valley, Carl and the whole team at Canine Valley. The level of commitment and passion they have for the animals is amazing, the learning environment is fun and both myself and my dog are much better for the experience. I recently completed one of the courses offered and learned so much and am able to recognize alot more opportunities for training my young dog...hats off to Amanda the trainer. Squamish is very lucky to have this facility available.

They basically saved us. We adopted a rescue dog that had / has some major issues and we ourselves had little and the wrong skills to deal with him. After a one week honeymoon" he exploded and we felt unsafe in our own home. They literally rescued us from him one day and from that point on we received training from them on how to be better pet owners. It immediately made things better and he is now a very affectionate and obedient dog

Had our Jack Russell and Cocker Spaniel mix in for pre-winter grooming and could not have been more pleased with Jessica’s excellent work. So impressed we are signing both up for training!

We have taken our 7 month old puppy Kiba to Canine Valley since she was 2 months old. We immediately were blown away from the knowledge from Karl & Valley. Kiba has been doing 1-1 lessons with Valley and I cannot imagine how raising Kiba would have been without the knowledge and guidance from Valley. They really dive into the fundamentals of training and the relationship between the dog and owner. Valley has also been so accommodating with our dog, catering the training to what Kiba needs to work on specifically. It is absolutely worth the investment and I recommend Canine Valley to anyone who has a dog.

My new rescue dog went walkabout in the Mountains! I contacted Carl @Canine Valley. His knowledge of what my dog was doing and why was exceptional and most importantly accurate! After 12 days I got my dog back and Carl coached me through every step. You guys do amazing work and I very much looking forward to working further with you… so my dog doesn’t decide to go walkabout again!

We adopted a 10 month mixed breed bundle of energy in the summer this year. She was poorly socialized with other dogs during her crucial stages of learning along with being tied up most of her life. Canine Valley was recommended to us by the rescue organization and we couldn't be any more pleased. We had an assessment with Carl to understand Ivy's needs and her reactivity and together they came up with a training plan. Ivy worked closely with Max, who she now adores, she loved coming to the training centre and always left smiling. We also got to work closely with Valley having one on one training weekly where she showed us how to be real dog owners.We cant thank everyone at the centre enough for training us to understand our dog and training Ivy to be a dog. We now have the skills and knowledge to keep training Ivy and give her the best life Squamish has to offer. We love Canine Valley!! We were referred to Valley and her team a few years back with our rescue dog who was having some behavioural issues. Not only did they give us fabulous direction in terms of long term habits and training with our pup, but they treat him like their own every time he visits. We are so grateful to have discovered this life changing team.
