The owner and proprietor of this business in Sarnia Ontario Canada was very knowledgeable about his stock the only thing he couldn't understand is why they don't finance people that have disability checks is the same amount every month regardless there is no fluctuation like three bikes he sold just before coronavirus 3 weeks later they weren't working and couldn't pay the finance company their loan

DONT BUY ANYTHING FROM HERE! bought a brand new ebike hornet from this place . First the price went up $150 cuz they knew I wanted it I’m sure , now they won’t even let my battery charged there overnight I brought my bike back before the end of the week saying it was too heavy for me and I have the receipt!! Also I told them it’s too heavy for me they still wouldn’t let me!! What’s the point getting an ebike from a dealer then? You’d be much better off buying a stolen one lol

Sarnia ebikes is a joke i purchased a brand new 2018 emmo proton gts from DAVE MATCHETT Owner and main operator of sarnia ebikes i purchased the bike in early febuary of 2019 its now march and the bike is still under warrenty....this pertains to my batteries ...it has been a horrible experience from the moment i paid in full...was told after a paid in full in person that he was picking the bike up the following friday ..this was on the wensday prior to that..and was told he would contact me once it was in sarnia...he never contacted me so i emailed and messaged him on monday no reply so i messaged via facebook tuesday and had to call him out just to get a respons and was told on the next sunny day he would have it delivered ...im only 45 minutes up highway 21....another 2 weeks go buy and i have send multiple messages so i contacted emmo and then he finally messages me saying hes delivering it the next day ...he arrives to deliver the bike and leaves almost right away so i look the bike over and notice its got a chip out of the paint near the (tank) ..this is supposed to be new at 3600 dollars i expect more....message dave again no re0ly for 3 days and untimatly its emmo customer service that fixed it for me not sarnia ebikes...so i when on a trip after that and the bike was stored im my heated apartment and was charge maintained once a month as stated on the battery care guide that was provided by sarnia ebikes ....so fast forward to current..last week its been nice and warm and have taken the bike out a few times have just over 50km total on the bike and the batteries are not holding the proper charge as i had a emmo monster before this thats 5 years old with original batteries at 72v20ah they last twice as long as the new batteries in my new emmo proton that are 72v30ah....so contact sarnia ebikes (Dave Matchett) via email and via facebook and no reply at all it shows on messanger thats all my messages have been read and still no respons ....be a man and run a real buissness

Completely disappointed in this retailer. My nephew had his ebike damaged and took it in to have it fixed in July 2018. They said it would be max 2 weeks to get it done. That was 4 months ago. My nephew has called in to them 5 times, gone to the shop 4 times personally...all he has been given is excuses. The time I went in with him in early September they said ah we have put feelers out for that"....by the end of the conversation

Very friendly staff. Knowledgable. Good selection. Prices seemed competitive. I didn't purchase yet tho. We stopped to look after hours and the guy let us in anyways. Printed off specs, answered all our questions.

At the beginning when I first bought my em1 I was able to get it right away as I made sure that I was purchasing one that was already assembled. The staff was helpful and knowledgeable. About a month later I was having some issues with the bike and was told that my batteries needed to be replaced because my issue(bike felt like the front tire was on wrong making it bounce in the front end) was a known issue called the damask shudder or something like that and was caused by the battery starting to go. My bike was a month old and I follow all the guidelines when it comes to the battery and I told them so. Next I was told it was my front tire needing to be replaced( again 1 month old and it looked it) gave up at this point and fixed it myself. Little did I know that this lack of knowledge would be a continuation and almost cost me a new battery. Brought my bike to them for storage at the beginning of winter and told them that it would need a complete recharge as I had just rode it there. Came to pick up my bike in the early spring which was an ordeal itself just trying to get ahold of the owner to arrange pick up. When I finally was able to pick it up he informed me that he had been plugging it in as part of there storage agreement for an hr 3 or 4 times a month and he wasn’t able to get the light to turn green. At first this worried me because that’s 500 bucks I hadn’t planned for. So I got the bike home and plugged it in for the usual 8 hour charge as I had an idea what was wrong and wouldn’t you know it the light turned green. So the bike was never recharged before putting it away for storage which could have been a big problem and is still causing me some charging issues. If you do decide to purchase from them just make sure that you are knowledgeable about the product you buy and don’t trust everything they say to be 100 percent what they are saying it is. Question everything at all times is all I can tell ya or it could cost you more money in the long run.
