Having been working with Woodlands from the beginning with promotional photos and videos we have had a front row seat to view the genuine hospitality Laurie and Jessie extend to their clients. We have had the absolute pleasure to shoot ( and cater as Back Forty Barbeque) many events for many of their clients and each and every group is treated with genuine love and respect. Incredible!Marnie and I had our wedding July 2020.Prior to the day there were some very rainy days, like almost record rainy days. Where there is rain there is water on the ground. The team did everything they could to make sure our feet stayed dry as possible!The team of Jesse and Laurie is absolutely incredible! They will listen to everything you say and will do everything in their power to make sure you get what you ask for, they even threw in some super surprises :) flower arrangement looked absolutely incredible and had all the flowers that we requested, the boutonnières had all the flowers we requested. The way everything was set up looked absolutely amazing, not only the ceremony site and reception site but as well as the cabins, the hang out spot while your camping prior to the wedding.We recommended this place 1000 times! This is the perfect venue for a wedding! It has a rustic feel and amazing surroundings to give your wedding the right setting. They literally took care or all the decor, flowers, set up and take down. I look forward to working with you all again soon!!!

Laurie & Jesse have something really special at Woodland & Wildflower. They were so easy to work with from the very beginning and blew any expectations I had out of the water. The venue is still being raved about by my guests. There are so many perks to having your wedding here. It is stress free as they take care of all the little details surrounding the day. The camping on site aspect allows you to soak in a full weekends worth of festivities and if you don't want to go to bed when the event is over you don't have to, this was a huge draw for us! Having all your events in one place means your photographer does not have to waste time in transportation and you can move quickly from one space to the next. To top it all off, it is incredibly beautiful. They put so much care and detail into the flowers (my bridal bouquet was incredible), the decor and the grounds itself. Getting married here was worth every penny.Thanks Laurie & Jesse!!!

My husband and I had our wedding at this beautiful venue in July 2022. It was our absolute dream wedding and we wouldn’t have changed anything. Laurie and Jesse were the perfect hosts and coordinators. They were always available to answer any questions we had (and we had lots as time went on as we booked early in 2020!), while making sure we were all on the same page with the plans/decor we envisioned. They did a complete set up and take down of all their beautiful decor. They even set up our special personalized things that we brought on our own and it all looked better than we could’ve imagined!The venue itself was exactly what we were looking for as we wanted a weekend long camping style wedding. There was tons of space for our guests to bring their tent trailers, RVs, etc. We also were pleased to offer some of our immediate family and wedding party to stay in their cozy bell tents and rustic cabins that they have on site. The shower houses were an extra plus too! We know our guests appreciated the flushing toilets and privacy to shower. Their outside fire pit/mini bar area was a huge hit at night for our late night guests who continued to party after the wedding day.We have nothing but amazing things to say about Laurie & Jesse and everything they did for us. We would highly recommend this venue to anyone who is looking for a beautiful camping weekend-long wedding, with everything from decor to flowers taken care of by two talented ladies! Words can not describe how thankful I am for Laurie and Jesse! My husband Matthew and I got married in July 2022 and they made our dream wedding come true! From beginning to end they were so helpful and so easy to deal with. They met every ask (lol demand) I had and made sure my vision came true. Being a perfectionist it was not easy for me to let someone else do all the work but honestly they exceeded my expectations. Every detail was done to perfection and they made the wedding the easiest most seamless event! Our wedding literally looked like it was out of a magazine. I would 100% recommend anyone to get married there. Jesse and Laurie are wonderful to deal with (make you feel like family), the bar tenders were amazing, the grounds are gorgeous and decor is beautiful. We loved it, our guests loved it and overall it was a beautiful experience. If you are considering this venue totally do it - you won’t regret it.

Short version: I loved it and can't say enough good things about Laurie, Jessie and their venueLong version: let's paint a picture. I am a typical male who did not want a big wedding, or even really a wedding at all. I would have been thrilled to elope. It would have been cost effective and no one would have to watch me dance. But my partner wanted a proper wedding and so did our parents. Enter woodland and wildflowers.It was the perfect venue. I felt like it's sprawling trails and gardens were easy enough to hide from people when I didn't want to socialize, but the gorgeous tents and campfire area allowed for all of our guests to gather and celebrate our love as one over the course of the weekend. There's no way my words will ever convey just how well lain out and how beautiful everything is. The flowers your guests will gush about. The table layouts are spectacular and the dance floor is the perfect size for your semi intimate wedding. Photo opportunities abound around every corner for your wedding photographer and the lovely couple too!  But beyond the attention to detail and the excellent communication, what really sold me is how inclusive this whole package is. Laurie and Jessie will take care of everything if you desire, and I most certainly did. Yes you'll have to pull up your own socks, but they have vendors for everything you could ever need and they are worth their weight in gold themselves. I don't think it can be overstated just how much value these two not only pack into the wedding but into making your life easier. They kept everything running smooth and allowed us to enjoy a stress free weekend. All I ever heard is how stressful weddings can be. but ours was not only beautiful, but I at no point had to worry about a missed detail or something not going to plan, as there was always a plan b! These two wonderful people run an amazing show and if camping and a wedding is your thing, I think you'd be silly to look elsewhere.I'll stop typing now, but if any part of my novel interested you, take a drive out to their site and fall in love with it. We ABSOLUTELY LOVED working with Laurie & Jessie! They were so easy and enjoyable to work with!And, our wedding was perfect! We couldn’t of done a better job at taking our vision and making it a reality! Love this place, beautiful outdoor location. Perfect setting for a weekend wedding with friends and family. There are a few basic cabins, showers and flush toilets, an awesome outdoor bar/fire pit area and lots of walking trails.
