I waited quite some time to write a review as I wanted a real world experience to form my opinion of International Pool and Spa (OSHAWA location). Any sales staff will always provide excellent service when purchasing a larger ticket item such as a higher end spa but I believe that it’s the after sale service where a company can shine or fall flat.I found myself in a position where my spa had broken down within the warranty period and I was relying on commitments that were made during the sales process to make it right. A difference in opinion resulted in some back and forth with no clear solution. The people at Coast Spa head office were friendly but pushed back to the individual dealer, leaving me where I had begun.Thankfully Brent and his Service Team at the Oshawa location stepped up and made it right. They took the time to listen my concerns and were very understanding. The service/repair was completed on time and on budget. The Repair Technician was friendly, knowledgeable and also on time.I will continue to go to International Pool and Spa for all my chemical needs and would purchase another spa there. I would also highly recommend Brent and his Service Team for all your repair and servicing needs in Durham Region.

I have never had to write a negative review until today but the service I have received from this company has been so poor that I want to protect others from going through the same nightmare. A technician came out to look at my hot tub 2 months ago. Since then after 7 phone calls and 3 appointments that they failed to show up for I am ready to give up. I called today to give them one last chance. If it's not resolved today I will be contacting another company even though it's a headache to start this whole process over again. Very disappointed.

After purchasing a hot tub at a show, only experienced horrible services from that point on. Some lady on the phone was rude and unprofessional when trying to arrange delivery of the spa. Eventually the owner took over the matter and made things even worst. He kept on saying he doesn't need the business since he's in this business for many years. Shocking to me how he stayed in business with this kind of attitude and unprofessionalism. They made things difficult in returning the refund and in fact, I never got my full refund back. Stay far, far away from this company. No need to spend your hard earn money with unprofessional customer services and horrible owners. Take your business somewhere else where they value your business and respect you as a customer.

I needed some serious help with my Inground pool, nobody in the GTA seemed interested in helping me. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner Marshall at his corporate head office one evening, not only did he help me, but sent an amazing team of Service techs to solve my issue the very next day!! 100 percent Best Pool and Spa Company to deal with.

I wish to give ZERO star review. I was in the store one month ago and I spoke with one guy about ordering a inside vent kit for my pool heater ( he didn’t even know that kit exist, and he was very rude) he took my name and cell phone number and he told me he’s going to ask Hayward about the kit and he is going to call me back which never happenedVery bad customer service.Stay away from this company.

Great technician, but it took over a week to schedule a service call. The head office is a challenge to deal with, but once the technician came, he was amazing. Knowledgeable and professional. He fixed our tub quickly. So five stars for the technician, and about two stars for the head office. (The Mississauga store is awesome as well. Best staff and manager).

Opening my pool this has been one of those times when a few important items needed updating or replacing.I have always liked the guys in Oakville, Cole and Luke are a great help. Cole set me up with a nice new pump when mine went literally up in smoke.Luke has taken the time on the phone to provide some good advice on how to get leak fixed up.Thanks to Cole and Luke for you help! I highly recommend them for friendly service and willingness to spend the time needed to do it right.CheersRob

I was really hoping I could depend on this company for follow up on the products they sell - I had a hot tub delivered by them in August 2020 and the main pump failed about 5 weeks ago. I called and left messages with the reception, directly on the salesperson Daniel's phone and spoke to someone in the warehouse. Eventually Daniel called me back about 10 days ago and I spoke to the warehouse a few days prior both assuring me that I would be priority and that the tub is under warranty. Having had this unusable tub in my back yard with all my family home I decided to just pay and get it fixed by another store who somehow were able to get me a technician within two days, while as the people I bought from could not service my tub almost 5 weeks later. Puts me out an additional almost $1000 from my original purchase and likely because I did this it will void any warranties - entirely frustrating and unacceptable.I understand, as does everyone, that these are COVID times and that expectations need to be adjusted, however when everyone else I called was able to commit to a service call within two to three days (I ended up getting two opinions, so the other one is + $175) it made me realize it is just the company, not anything else. Will never deal with them again.The one star in the review is only for the delivery and installation crew who were timely and efficient, but likely outsourced.

I have a older hot tub that recently stopped heating up, I called International Pools to arrange a service call. The staff that took my call were very helpful and had the service tech out within the day! The tech informed me that I needed a new heating element which he had in is truck. Overall the install and whole process was very smooth! definitely a 5 star process!!Dylan

Attended the Mississauga store to purchase chlorine. Upon presenting their coupon for 40% discount for up to a maximum of two containers ($6.00 discount), I was told that the store does not accept coupons that are printed from their online catalogue on their website, and that the coupon must be clipped from their hardcopy catalogue not from their website catalogue. I spoke with the manager Mike who stated this policy is being strictly enforced by corporate head office, is a change from past practices, and I should take it up with their head office. I have been a customer for at least fifteen years and have used these coupons since inception by printing them from their online catalogue for the over 100 litres of chlorine I purchase annually. It is ludicrous in this paperless day and age to expect customers to now order a hardcopy catalogue to be shipped through the mail in order to use any coupons that are contained therein rather than use their online catalogue. Nowhere on their website does it state to do this. This ridiculous change in policy amounts to misleading advertising and very poor customer relations. The corporate office did not have the courtesy to return my phone call or email. Going forward, I will take my future business to their competitor across the street.
