Cockney Kings Fish & Chips
Hot, fresh, melt in the mouth fish and chips. Good portions, decent price. Our server was friendly and attentive. Tried the cod and the halibut and both were great. Airy, crispy batter. Good batter to fish ratio. My only concern, wish they had given a couple of lemon wedges. Will surely return again.

An absolute gem in the New West location! Their Haddock fish is a good option for Fish and Chips as the flavor is rich and they’re aromatic too. We also ordered Calamari, Fried Oysters, and Onion Rings. All of them taste great because there’s a fine balance between the batter and the food itself. I’m happy the chefs knew what they’re doing and didn’t overwhelm us with more batter than anything else. Tartar and coleslaw were amazing too! Will definitely come back here in another group for sure!!

Good 'ol fish and chips done well. Not at all greasy. The deep fried oysters we're good too. All COVID-19 safety measures in place. Good service.

Our 2nd visit today was as good as the first! A sign of a good restaurant - consistency. We look forward to our third visit.This was our first visit to this fish and chip restaurant.The waitress was very polite friendly, and professional. The food that we ordered took a little time to come our table, but this is to be expected because the fish and chips are both freshly fried.The batter on the fish was perfect it was cooked well and the batter surrounded the fish, unlike some restaurants where you have lots of batter with a little piece of fish inside. This wasn't the case here.The chips appeared to be the frozen type.. and not like other restaurants where they serve hand-cut chips.The price was perhaps a little bit higher than other fish and chip restaurants, however it is a good value.All in all it was an enjoyable experience.

As soon as you walk in you can smell the delicious food. You get your money's worth with the portion size and staff are polite. The Poutine is good but the regular menu is what I'd recommend, the tartar sauce is too good

All you can eat fish and chips every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. $14.95 including bottomless pop is one good deal! Friendly staffs and clean dining room just make it so much better. Plenty of free parking out front is another bonus.

Amazing… no other words… we had the halibut fish and chips and the prawns… both had amazing taste… its the first time i tried fish and chips and I’ve become a fan… lots of place to sit, park your car and a clean toilet…

Cockney Kings Fish & Chips
I revisited Cockney Kings after many years of not going . We ordered both the halibut and haddock and chips . The fish was moist and the batter light and crispy . Only minor downside was I found the tartar sauce a bit too sweet for my liking but I would definitely go back . The tallow fried fries were excellent too . The service was friendly fast and efficient too . Will definitely be back . Who can resist well prepared tallow fried food?

We came here on a Wednesday evening and were surprised how busy it was. It took a bit to get seated and then the service was pretty slow, but it seemed like they only had 2 servers working at the time. We ordered a fish and chips and an order of poutine. The food took quite some time to come out and the rude British people behind us were hassling the waitress about the length of time too. When the food came out, the fish was fresh, crispy and flaky, but over cooked. The fries were soggy and sad. The poutine had a tremendous amount of gravy on it with very few curds, but was a decent portion size. Soggy fries on the poutine too, but that was some what to be expected, it did have about half start crispy though. Not bad, not good, just a convenient place to grab food if you aren't in any hurry.
