I want to love this place! The beer is good and the outdoor space is amazing!However, the staff doesn't seem to care about much. Getting sat seemed to be a chore, service was very slow even though it wasn't busy, and the staff on general don't seem to be too concerned with much in terms of customer service.The food wasn't bad per se, but I wouldn't eat here again.The server wasn't very knowledgeable about the food or the beer, and the person working at the to-go counter acted like i was asking for a big favour asking to buy something.But to end on a positive note, the outdoor space the have really is great. The seating arrangements for grownups and families is really cool and inviting. There's games as well as a pretty impressive playground for kids.

Came here several times over our time at the Beer Spa, and had a wonderful time. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. The musical talent that they have are amazing. The drinks were always fast, great, cold, and delicious.I want to take a moment to appreciate Sarah and Jasmine. It's hard to find a person in Bala/Torrance that isn't friendly. But Sarah and Jasmine are the BEST hosts. They made our experience 10000% better than it could have ever been. We always felt welcome. They maintained our guest relations and remembered us. They went over a I would come back for Jasime and Sarah. Give these gals a raise! We loved them.

Consistently inattentive staff. Been multiple times and I won't be back. You can actually get the beer at the Cottage restaurant next door if you really want it.Cute spot with a nice outdoor space in a quiet and quaint area. Brewing area looks dirty and cluttered. Beer is good, but that fact doesn't inspire much confidence.

Something for everyone" is the best way to describe Clear Lake. To start

nice, quiet relaxing place to kick back and enjoy a nice cold one. highly recommend their honey cream ale and the summer ale, both nice and smooth. Pretzel with cheese soft and cheesy, just a tad salty pairing well with the brewery. Lots of little souvenirs to get, good service, great vibes

This place has all the potential - great food, good location, but the service is really bad. Not enough staff at the very least. Today (and this is my second poor service experience) there was one poor server doing the bar, all the tables, indoor, outdoor, running food. There was no one greeting or available at the merch/retail purchase area, we found our own menus, the washroom didn’t have paper towel… I wonder if the owners are growing faster than they’re staffing. Again, great potential but as is I wouldn’t go out of my way.

So, need to start with… beer is good, it’s a great place to bring your family for a lunch or dinner. Staff is friendly.The food however needs a lot of improvement. We ordered nachos, they came in pieces and with barely any toppings for $15. So we brought it up, the waitress offered to replace it and provide a better plate.second plate came out maybe an hour later and it was worse.We also ordered Buffalo cauliflower. They came out cold. Really good, but cold.So… don’t buy the nachos here. If they cost $7, I’d suggest them but definitely not for $15.I’ll be back to let the kids play and have a few beers, but won’t be eating here again.

Lovely little pub/brewery. Nice big portions of food even for appetizers. Loved the deep fried pickles. Great beer recommendations by our server who was super friendly. Highly recommend the summer ale! A friendly place with a welcoming atmosphere. Loved the beer glasses so much we ended up buying some along with a jug of beer. Will definitely be going back to this little hidden gem!

8 hungry British boys needed feeding (& further watering) after a day spent at the spa. They did not disappoint. Super quick food, really lovely staff, and I treated myself to a little merch! Thanks guys and gals

Great place for lunch and beer in Torrance - can’t leave without some takeaway beer either! Very family friendly, large beer garden with picnic benches is fenced in and has a large play area that keeps the kids happy while the parents enjoy a beer and listen to the live music on the outdoor stage.Food is pretty good - standard pub fare - chicken tenders are done in house and are very good. Kids meals $12 but no drink or dessert, adult meals around $16-20 - not huge but they will fill you up and are decent quality - probably slightly over the odds but you are getting good location, excellent play area and live music, as well as very fresh beer. We have been lots of times before and will definitely come again - they keep improving the place!
