Ron's the best - super friendly, always has a vintage movie playing, and of course gives great haircuts.

Have been going here for a couple of years (since I arrived in MTL), and recently introduced my brother to this spot--he's now a loyal fan as well. Ron--the owner/operator is a really nice, personable guy. He looks out for his customers, is great at cutting hair (which is what it's all about, really, right?), charges reasonable fees, and always takes his time to give you a proper cut. He also provides a wet shave, at a very reasonable price--if you've never been for a shave, treat yourself!

Excellent barber shop, the owner is professional, entertaining, and demonstrates passion and immense expieriance. There is typically a little bit of a wait as it is walk in only however there is always something interesting playing on the tv. Note, it is cash only.

I'm not very picky with my haircuts. My hair is thick, wavy, parted and frizzy, and I've found it's hard to expect much more than a shorter, slightly goofy version of what I had. Ron managed to take my instructions perfectly and make it look good! I usually have an idea of what a *great* cut would look like and this surpassed it!Ron didn't force any conversation (which is a big plus for me), took his time (passing over a particularly tricky area 3 times) but didn't sit there pampering me looking for a bigger tip. I was very impressed with my haircut and will be going back for the foreseeable future.Only complaint was that it was quite busy (constant line of 3 people). But it had been closed for a long weekend.

I have been cutting my hair there for 2 years, and I will keep going there for a long time.In addition to the quality hair cuts, and the customized hair style based on head size, style, and persona; Figaro is great place to be at, it feels like family.All in all a great experience. And the price is just right.

Barber was polite, funny and professional. Great cut at an affordable price! I rarely leave reviews but this is a real gem you should consider. Absolutely recommend!
