Great restaurant for beers and food. It’s more of a local dive than a classy steakhouse. Must visit when you’re in the area!

There used to be vegan options but they all seems to be gone. Also very expensive for what we got, but that’s pretty par for the course at restaurants these days. I didn’t appreciate that tips on the machine started at 20%. I just can’t foresee going there again for a meal, the value just isn’t there.The patio is a nice place to have a beer though.

OK place. We went on wing night which meant it was busy. The wait for a table was in line with what they told us. Service was OK but once our food came our waitress disappeared for close to half an hour. Wing flavours are good but wings are pretty small for $1 each

Normally I really love the food here and the fish tacos and the fishing tips have always been my favourite! This time no one seemed to really like what we ordered and some of the appetizers didn't have much flavour but also were very oily. It was a very busy night so the kitchen might have been rushed but it just wasn't my favourite this time. I do recommend trying the fish and chips sometime but the salt and vinegar chips because it is a very large portion! And the view from here is a really great one from the city and the back patio has both the regular patio and now picnic tables outback where even your dog could sit with you! The overall it's a really nice atmosphere and a really nice view to check out and sit to have a drink.

The Bruce Kincardine
After a long day of travel following tent camping for two weeks, we longed for a peaceful and nourishing meal. It seemed that The Bruce might fit that longing. Unfortunately, although the food was alright but not special, the situation in the restaurant on the night we visited was loud. ALL of the servers seemed more interested in a birthday party with loud band than in the customers who were not partying. As seniors and tired campers, we were definitely not partying. We were offered seating on the patio. Over the course of our meal, we had four different servers appear and then disappear--the party seemed to be their main concern. We had to coax everything from getting a menu to getting our food to getting the bill at the end. I was sorry that we had chosen The Bruce.However, there was one silver lining. We arrived just at sunset and, however bad the service was and however meh the food was, the scene from the patio of a Lake Huron sunset was gorgeous. We had heard about these gorgeous Kincardine sunsets and were able to experience one ourselves. Check out the pics.

The Bruce is a very nice spot. There is a large patio on the back with a beautiful view on the lake (especially during sunset). Drinks are served with a lot of choice in draft beer. The food is good but a bit standard. Vegetarian options available.

The Bruce Kincardine
This place surprised me for their various delicious vegetarian options. The portions were great. I ordered spinach dip and tomato soup. I really enjoyed Spinach dip. The tomato soup was also good but little thick as compared to usual soup and I ended up eating it like a dip too. Definitely come again and try other options.
