AMAZING food, incredible staff and the owner is always hands on and interacts with everyone that comes in ensuring they have enjoyed their experience there. Definitely recommend.... never disappoints!

Interesting feel with privacy taken into consideration as decorative paneling gives a unique barrier between patrons. Great selection of diverse foods. Affordable prices and a rewards program lend themselves to making this experience available to consumers of many demographics. Plainly said: Don't miss the chance to find yourself in Veky's having a memorable meal!

2023 Update: Had lunch here again and enjoyed itNot a fancy place from the outside, but a nice interior, friendly staff and good food: some European and some Canadian entrees. VERY popular with locals and tourists should check it out too. Right on the main street, Hwy. 86, so on the way to some of the Lake Huron beaches.We had lunch on Saturday, fish & chips and schnitzel; both were very good, and the server, was friendly (Adrienne). Small town hospitality at its best. And the restaurant is surprisingly large, so great for groups too. Mid range prices; a wide range of items; they have draft beer, etc. etc.We will eat here again whenever we go through town on our way to Southampton, ON.

The service was perfect. They are very fast, forgot nothing and the service throughout the meal was amazing. The food was fantastic and the portions were huge. Home cooked. My sons meal in picture. Chicken burger and upgraded to poutine. A great location.

The food is way better since the end of Covid, however they miss the small nuances, like when you ask for something it doesn’t happen.Asked for soft poached eggs they came hard, asked if they had freshly squeezed Orange Juice, it was concentrate, toast not toasted asked to correct, it came back double toasted burnt.If they improve the small things the restaurant experience would be more enjoyable.ThanksMark

Decided to stop in based on a Google search of restaurants in Listowel. I liked what I saw on the menu so my friend and I tried it out. The interior is charming. Plenty of space with high bar style or low chairs. Even the washrooms are pleasantly decorated. I had the Irish potato soup, vegetable spring rolls and cordon bleu Swiss schnitzel. My friend wasn't overly hungry but had the same spring rolls and was very happy. I enjoyed every dish and certainly didn't leave hungry. Prices are reasonable and what you'd expect from this type of restaurant. The menu Is extensive so I intend on going back when I'm in the area to try a few more dishes. We also chatted at length with the owner who is a delightful, personable lady. She contributed in no small way to the enjoyment of our visit.Well I returned for my second visit with another friend. This time I had the escargot appetizer and a chicken parmesan as an entree. The escargot was delicious, served in a cream sauce with onions, bacon and whisky. Two generously filled bowls plus garlic bread. It's quite filling but I forged on to the chicken. Tender with a crispy coating. Linguine, decent sauce and more garlic bread. My friend said he was more than pleased with his choices. Generous serving of pork and said the Hungarian goulash was perfectly spiced and tasty. No hesitation recommending this place.

Stopped in on a whim for some drinks with friends. Almost a hidden gem in Listowel, the exterior hides a really nice interior with lovely decor and great lighting. Service was extremely attentive and friendly. I'm definitely coming back to try the food here.

Had haddock fish n chips. Excellent with awesome fries. Excellent service reasonable price. Washrooms clean with paper towels! Good variety of foods too. My wife had shrimp stir fry. Also good.Will come back.
