The atmosphere is lovely, you enjoy sitting down and enjoying your food. The staff is lovely and the service is spotless however the portions are too small for what you pay! The food does not come with salad but only with some onion salad when asked to replace it you get charged £5+ the service charge is added on top as standard like most other Turkish places I find it unethical when you considering take away price and eat in price is already upto %50 different from one another (eat in being more expensive of course and this is not specific to this shop it’s a general thing for most shops ranges between %30-%50) so why the service charge? But this is not specific to Alaz and I can not be harsh on them for following others. Providing they increase their portion size and maybe offer better white rice?(!) I would go back. This review by no means to stop anyone visiting the place this is just my own opinion and you should try it for yourself. My bill with soft drink and ribs was just over £30

What an absolutely amazing place! Really tasty food, superb staff, lovely atmosphere. One of the best meals I’ve had in a while. Everything was fresh and beautifully prepared.Ample parking at the back is also a huge bonus!

The best place to eat in Sudbury. We had the most delicious meal, beautifully presented. The staff were so helpful and efficient. 10/10 dining experience. We dined here with our friends last night - we all had a fabulous time. The best

Came here for the first time for a family birthday meal. They catered for all dietary needs (including those of us who wanted plainer food), the food was excellent and we had a great time! The staff were friendly and so helpful, nothing was too much for them. Definitely recommend Alaz!

Amazing day out!Absolutely delicious food and great service.The staff were so helpful and knew their menu so well it was impressive.The cold męże was delicious and a nice way to get a bit of everything, it was a great portion for 4 people!I highly recommend getting the steak dish, although it sounds like your normal dish it will really blow you away. Definitely the best food I had in a long time.The dessert menu was also absolutely delicious. Looking forward to going there again!

I was staying in the local area with my partner and decided to try this restaurant and honestly, I am so glad we did! I can't fault it the staff were present but not too invasive, just great! and well the food was absolutely delicious. I could have just ate until I burst, the flavours were on point! The portions were generous. We had the sharing for two and a side of halloumi. We struggled to finish all we had and we really really tried! Would definitely eat here again!

Warm welcome, great food. Extensive menu so take your time to choose. We asked for recommendations and weren’t disappointed. Lots of choice so choose well. We didn’t need starters for all, sharing was good enough. No desert although was a good choice. The restaurant goes back quite a way so do have a look at the bar area. Definitely worth booking. Service was sporadic at times, even though we were right in the centre of the service area, was difficult attracting attention as everyone rushed past us. Once we had a waiter, all was good.
