The 5 star rating goes to Pierre Cousineau of Ottawa Home Services. Pierre had the thankless task of working in 34 degree heat and humidity to fix our AC unit. He replaced the defective compressor but performed more tests to determine what caused the compressor to fail after only 2 summers. It took meticulous troubleshooting to finally identify and fix the root cause. His diligence will hopefully ensure that our Comfortmaker AC will now perform to the standard expected.

From first contact to order to installation to product invoicing / registration the whole process has been professionally managed and performed. I had a furnace / AC removal and replacement with a heat pump. The whole process took 3 days. Clayton and Cameron did an excellent job of installation down to even the smallest of details. They kept the place clean, answered all my questions, and everything looks professionally installed and runs perfectly. Everytime I've called there for any reason, the staff has been pleasant and responsive. I would not hesitate to use or recommend this company.

Taylor has come to our home a number of times now for the regular maintenance on our Central Air Conditioner. He always arrives on time, is very professional in his manner, and is very thorough in his maintenance procedure. He is also quite pleasant to talk to!

Our furnace stopped on a cold January morning and I contacted Ottawa Home Services as I had a furnace plan with them. Within 2 hours their technician, Kris Schenk arrived as planned. After testing the various modules within our 15 year old furnace, the fault was confirmed to be with the exhaust blower. The remainder of the service time, Kris contacted the furnace company order the replacement parts and took measurements for a new high efficiency furnace. We did this as the cost of the parts were high, furnace was only 80 % efficiency and with the age of the furnace being 15 years. The next morning Kris sent us, as promised, the new furnace estimate so that we can make an informed decision.

Pierre at Ottawa Home Services is the absolute best.I’ve had him over to replace a ventor motor in 2014. And today (July 4th 2023) he was over to fix a refrigerant leak in my AC.He really knows his stuff and explains everything extremely well. But most importantly he is very sincere and it’s obvious that he truly enjoys his work and cares about the work he does and the clients he services.And the customer service (Kerri) is a pleasure to deal with. Great communication by phone and email.A++

The tech was Alan and he showed up very promptly and gave me the bad news. I was expecting to hear this as the old furnace is 19 years old and we bought it from your firm 19 years ago from Mark. Excellent service, Pierre called me last night and after a number of questions told me to shut the furnace off so I did. He was very helpful also. Pierre came in May to clean our air conditioner units. He did a great job. When we had a problem where at least one of our wall units wasn't draining properly and water was running down the wall; he came back and fixed the problem for no additional charge. Excellent service.job

I had a great experience with Ottawa Home Services. Within 45 mins of my emergency call, Pierre was at my door. He was knowledgeable and professional. When I explained the problem to him, he knew exactly what to look for and he diagnosed the problem within 15 minutes and replaced capacitor and made AC start working again.

Taylor was punctual, calm, and efficient. He made me feel good about my decision to get help. I have not ever had a poor experience with Ottawa Home Services techs.
