Jamie provided an excellent professional service. Very thorough and very clean, protecting carpets and the floor to the front door. No soot escaped due to sealing the opening. After a thorough clean the flue draw was finally checked using a smoke bomb to ensure the flue was clear. A very friendly and efficient service giving good advice on caring for our wood burner. We would have no hesitation in fully recommending this service.

First impressions really do count. My initial contact email to Jamie was replied to promptly, necessary details gathered and an appointment made quickly and efficiently.Jamie arrived in good time on the day and was friendly and courteous. He asked a few questions about the stove, when it was installed, what we burned and how often we used it and when it was last swept. He did the traditional brush-out-of-the-chimney-pot viewing and just got on with the job with no fuss.He noticed a damaged fire brick, we agreed the price and he returned the next day to replace it.His visit included a visual survey of the chimney, the stove and its installation including the Carbon Monoxide detector, and the results were included on the invoice.All in all Jamie gave a friendly and professional service. It's good to see a new generation of chimney sweeps.Having had a wood burning stove for over 30 years we've used a number of sweeps. We will be using Jamie again.
