Played: 03-Jul-2020The Devon Golf Course is one of the best conditioned courses we have played this year. We had more rain the past view days and were pleasantly surprised that it was fairly dry with only a few wet or muddy areas. This course is always fun to play and is lady friendly as it is not a long course with lots of birdie opportunities if you are hitting it straight. The tee-boxes and fairways are lush and the ball sits up nicely, the rough was thick and juicy but not unplayable. The greens are in excellent condition, soft and receptive which is always good on greens that are so small. They were lush and well maintained but were a bit on the slow side but sped-up as they dried out. Looking forward to going back as my wife really enjoyed it and played well.

The restaurant doesn't seem to be listed here but the review is for the restaurant. First time here - and already got the wrong burger after the server recommended me another one. The one I got was also burned and shouldn't have left the kitchen. The server was very apologetic and offered to make a fresh one. I was under the impression the cost of the meal would be taken care of as the server said, but the manager only allowed her(over the phone) to discount upgrade from fries to a poutine. So I paid full price for a burnt wrong burger that I haven't finished and having a cold burger later at home. Mistakes happen. I get it. And the server didn't even expect a tip, but I tipped her and would've preferred if there was a manager on duty to actually speak with and get a better discount for the mediocre experience on a first visit on a not so busy Friday evening. The poutine was decent, gravy tasted good but it was a bit too salty.Update: downgrading to one star because there was hair in the burger I took home. It's a shame the cook is wasting so much food and clientele at the expense of this business. I would avoid this place at all costs and would not suggest it to anyone.

I was finally able to enjoy a round of golf here and it certainly lived up to the hype. A great course in the North Saskatchewan River Valley. Beautiful layout, lots of great views and all the staff very extremely welcoming and friendly! The food was very good. If you're looking to get out for a nice round or host a tourney, I'd definitely recommend this place!

June 26 2023 played Devon with the K97 Fairways to Heaven. Most times it turns out to be a long round. Today just 4 hr 10 min. We didn’t wait or were pushed on any hole. The course is in such good shape that I would recommend it to anyone. Don’t let the short length fool you it is challenging with a lot of tight fairways and small greens. I will play there again this summer.Played today Sept 18. Greens were punched but still putt able. Fairways were great. One of the best short courses in the area. Tight fairways and small greens make it a fun test. Easy walk and they have a great 2 for 1 special. Play early if possible as it can get very busy.

Polite and friendly staff. Course has an interesting layout, not good not bad. Over the road is interesting to say the least. Alot of back tracking from green to next tee box, not really any signage to tell you where you should be driving where not to be with a cart. The fact that the cart seat is $20 and the cart doesn't have a sand bottle or a ball and club washer is disappointing. No practice facilities were available for hitting clubs when I was there, very tiny practice green as well is unfortunate. The price does seem a bit step when you take into account there was no beverage cart, halfway stop wasn't open and the kitchen closed at 330. Again, the price of a cart was a bit much. Bit of a slow round till a few groups only playing gave us a bit of a speed up on the back nine. The tee boxes are all slanted and rolling heights. If the cart isn't out because of off season" or out of season

Decent little hidden gem of a course here. Did a best ball there a few years ago, it was good for all skill levels and had a decent little restaurant.

A solid course. We came on a day where it had recently rained but cleared up and even got sunny by the end of the day.The Warmup green did not reflect the first few holes, it was very slow and spongy, the greens were medium speed and got to medium fast by the end. Most holes have sand by the green to add challenge, rough is short cut so it isn't terrible to escape, the fairways are a bit bumpy but the grass was in good shape. The weird part of this course is hitting over the road where there are legitimate cars driving by and you have to wait or be confident you'll hit high enough. I cleared them no problem but another guy in our group couldn't get that out of his head.Par 3s are quite long with minimal fairway, I'd say they were the hardest part of the course.Only one hole with water and it's all in front of the green with sand behind to make it a double threat, it is a very tough one. They have a concession half way out into the course with washrooms which is a really nice feature and helps you forget the nightmare hole I just mentioned.Par is 70 for some reason, I'm used to 72 more but 2 holes are over 400 and could be considered par 5 if you are not a long hitter as they have big hills to swallow any rollout. It's a good course, I'd give it 3.5 as nothing massively jumps out besides the concession but it plays well, price isn't spectacular but it isn't worth 3 stars as it is a good time.
