While this place was opened around the same time as a glut of gourmet burger joints in Halifax, I'm very pleased that Ace has lasted.The burger's I've had here are always very high-quality and prepared quickly. The staff have been patient and helpful, and it's a great use of space setting the restaurant inside local watering hole Gus' Pub.

Best meal I have had in Halifax in a while. The beet burger was next level delicious and their hand cut fries are amazing. My husband tried the deluxe burger and spicy fries and said wholly this is good! Not often that everyone at the table LOVES their meal. This is a must for people who like good food at a good price!

Best burger I've ever had in Canada. It's not about whats on the burger, it's what it's made of. Even the veggie burger is amazing! Can't say enough about this place! Must visit in Halifax. (In Guys' bar so don't expect a fine dining atmosphere, i prefer to take-out).

This place does not look great and is a bit of a dive. But WOW the food is amazing. One of the best burgers I have ever had. The lamb burger I had was unreal. My wife had a regular burger which was also delicious. Cannot wait to go back.

It was good food, but I did not get everything that I paid for. I bought a Pig Mac burger, and on the burger was only half the patty. Literally a semi-circle that covered half the bun. I was not happy. I suspect it is because I just had enough money for the burger and thus was unable to leave a tip.

We stopped for lunch with a very cranky and upset 5.5 year old. She decided she wanted to have fish and chips...not on the menu. Our server Megan made it happen anyway. My daughter felt super special having a meal just for her and even asked for another piece of fish! This is a child who doesn't finish her food often - she declared it was the best fish and chips she ever had. The staff went above and beyond and made our day better. The food was really good and we all enjoyed it. So thank you Megan and everyone for being so accomodating!!!

I was looking to try one of Halifax's gourmet burger place when I came back to the city, and I was brought here first. Great burger! I love the idea of a kitchen run by a specific place.
