Kohltech Windows & Entrance Systems

Think long and hard about ordering windows from Kohler. Paid for windows in June of this year with a delivery date of September. Was just told that they STILL have not commenced fabricating them and it is MID NOVEMBER!!!!I understand long lead times exist but this is in the realm of FRAUD!

Absolute rubbish!! and it's infuriating..I live in a rural area, so not a lot of choice. A steel door let's in rain water, air..just complete rubbish! and my other exterior door needs to be replaces, asked Home Hardware, they told me like 1000 bucks for a simple door that is the same as the other one!! and to deal with them on the phone?! That's another story! I feel they take advantage of those of us who don't know a lot.. shameful company!!

Kohltec windows are average, maybe even below average. I have had my whole house , 17 windows and 2 doors replaced. One door and three windows are no good. The windows have broken seals, so mist up. One of the doors is good, the other. Has never fitted correctly. Installed in September 2022. Now it’s July 2023 and I am STILL WAITING for the replacements. This, despite the fact that I’m terminally ill, which they know. I’ve had 3 different dates for installation. No one has turned up. Each time I have made sure the rooms are clear for them to work. This was at considerable physical cost to me. Each time they simply don’t turn up. DON’T USE THIS FIRM. THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS

We had Kohltech Window & Entrance Systems install glass dividers between booths in our restaurant. Very fast and friendly customer service - a great company to work with! The glass is clear and windows are sturdy. A great and safe addition to our restaurant. Highly recommend!

We had an amazing experience with Mike today. A lovely young man. Windows fixed in no time. They look lovely. It has been an easy experience dealing with Tiffany who got the paperwork going. No hassle or delays.

Heat gain in summer is huge and heat loss in winter. New house in 2020 and can’t believe how much heat comes in.Spend more money and get good windows.So disappointed.

Bought a new home. Unfortunately it came with a Kohltech insert for the front door both sidelights had failed weatherstripping and lots of ice built up inside our house. The door is warped so much i can feel a breeze with the door closed. Junk.

This company does not deserve a single star. Custom door, baked on" black frame took EIGHT months and now paint chipping off. Six weeks after Jeff said he'd send a person to repair/replace...no word. Instead of resolution they ignore situation and blame Home Hardware! By ignoring the problem customers must resort to public forum

Had a 6 year old sliding glass door and it was a great door. Very well insulated in the winter, but one of the panes of glass spontaneously exploded one night and it’s not covered under warranty. The lady I spoke to thought it was funny and said it’s not normal but not covered after 1 year. There was no impact to the glass or cracks in it, the glass just decided that it didn’t want to exist anymore.

Worst windows ever. They ice up inside every winter. Technician told me when he came to inspect that it must have been a bad day at the factory. Kholtec blamed high humidity levels. Since when is 30% too high? Huge amount of condensation on the windows but 3' away in the same room, zero condensation and zero ice on my glass door.Then they blamed the install and improper insulation. So my builder removed a window and re-insulated while the Kholtec tech was present to witness. Come winter, no change. There was the same amount of ice as there was prior to re insulating. In our last house we replaced our aging wood windows with new vinyl and had no issues with condensation or ice build up under the same interior and exterior environmental conditions.and their response below to this review is hilarious.....Ice forming on the inside of my windows, when the temperature was only -18C by the way, actually means the windows re working properly. Send me literature? How about replacing my windows with a product that actually works as advertised.
