Auction company. Auctioneer is similar to many others. No major issues so far. I do not like the ambiguity of rigging fees - I know auctioneer says they will take it off, if you pick it up yourself, but there are lots that are TBD - lots where 50 CAD rigging fee would be a big problem.I also am not big fan of live auction - timed auction is the way to go these days - if people sell homes for over a million on timed auction I am sure machinery for less than 100k can go that way as well. It gives a lot of flexibility to the buyer.Combining lots is also not cool - I wanted one of the lots but auctioneer combined it with a lathe later on - lathe and the tooling lot sold for same as lathe was selling alone!Big lots - again, why not sell in smaller lots - no lots where someone is selling all lathe tool holders for 5 machines" - sell in smaller lots of say 5 or 10 lathe tool holders not 50+ I know this is more work for auctioneer but way more money."

I have been purchasing tools for my business from corporate assets for a few years now, and the company is a pleasure to work with. They are very knowledgeable, professional, and always have a great selection of auctions going on at any given time to choose from. I highly recommend using corporate assets whether you are in the market of purchasing good quality used tools and machinery, or in need of liquidating your own assets. The owner Ryan has been very helpful in answering questions related to the auctions, and really knows his stuff when it comes to the value and general information about any item that he auctions. 10/10 company and will definitely continue to use their services.

Won an online auction, got the invoice, only to be told an hour later that they made a mistake and were not going to honour the deal!! Very unprofessional and everyone knows they would not be understanding at all if the roles were reversed!Edit: after they've replied below, here's more of the story..I was the bidder on a company account. The auction in question was for tools that attach to a machine that was also sold in the same auction and they don't fit on any other machine. Just that make and model. So of course they were to be sold in the same auction. Not authorized? Very hard to believe.My winning bid was the only bid because apparently I was the only bidder who knew what they were, so I won for a great price. That's how auctions are supposed to work.I'm sure whoever won the auction for the machine and the seller were shocked to hear that price and immediately sought to undo the auction and make a side deal at our expense.If that machine was to be sold with all available tooling it would have been stated as such in the auction. It was not.The tools in question are for a 30 year old machine which makes them hard to come by and expensive when you do find them. So the offer to find a replacement at their expense is good for the public image but not easily achievable.We had a deal, you broke it. I stand by my review.

I haven't been to a Corporate Assets auction let alone an online one in awhile. Pleasantly surprised how easy, fair and entertaining it was. I just won the items I wanted great time. Awesome good work!Thank you!Jason from Tiny
