I started going in for tutoring with the Erin Mills Academy during the summer before my grade 12 year to help prepare myself for Advanced functions and Calculus. I went for tutoring three times a week for both semesters, and saw my performance increase significantly. Comparing grade 11 Functions and grade 12 Advanced Functions, my average went up a full 10%, and with the improvement in marks, I was accepted into my first choice university program at McMaster. The tutors are very friendly, easy to work with and knowledgeable.

I registered my 16-year old son who is an in-coming grade 11 student, for their summer program. My son wanted to prepare for grade 11 math and science classes since he is planning to take a science course in university. Due to the pandemic, all the sessions were done online. My son reports that the teacher assigned to him was very good and patient in explaining everything and going through everything with him step by step. They first reviewed the basics and ensured that he had a solid grasp before advancing at his pace to the grade 11 topics. The academy’s director, Wayne Lam, is also excellent at communicating with me at all stages. He is very accommodating of our schedule and ensured that my son was progressing well.
