Great little café and it appears to have lost none of its lustre and high standards under new ownership. I recommend their sandwiches (lemon chicken artichoke!) and soups, and not to forget, coffee.

Great mid-way spot for us between Belleville and Peterborough. The staff was super kind and sweet. Cute cafe with a patio and some beautiful art pieces. The food is fresh and delicious! We got the lemon chicken artichoke salad and it was yum!!

What a great place! The food was fantastic and they have several options for wheat free baked goods- excellent finish to a yummy lunch. The staff and new owners were so friendly, the atmosphere was perfect, I will be back for sure.

Spent the day at the wonderful annual Lilac Festival today and went to Our Lucky Stars for lunch. While the ham and brie sandwich was delicious, the customer service, particularly from the owner was abysmal.We arrived to a typical busy lunch hour, and after ordering found a seat that was cleared and had a lovely view. We happily waited while others were served food, and slowly began to wonder if we were forgotten about, as others who we thought walked in after us were being served. After 30 minutes of waiting, I went to the front and kindly asked the gentleman at the counter (who I later learned was the owner) to prepare my sandwich to go, as I had a walking tour scheduled in 10 minutes I had to go to.He asked what my order was, and then promptly declared that it had been served a while ago. I explained that we had not been served any food. He went to kitchen to investigate and returned asking the same question again. I explained again that we never received our food. He returned to the kitchen again, and returned this time asking what name was on the order. I explained no name had been asked when I ordered. I also mentioned at this point that there may have been a mixup, as my partner initially sat at a small, uncleared table while I ordered, but immediately after ordering, we moved to a table that opened by the window that was cleared. I also mentioned that the girl who took my order walked by a minute after we sat at the ‘new’ table and after confirming our order, said she would change the order note to where we sat now. The owner again returned to the back, clearly disgruntled.When he returned a final time, he handed us our food in a bag and without saying a word, walked away.I completely understand that this institution would have a higher volume than normal due to the festival. We had no problem waiting or sitting in a busy place. We only asked for our food to go, and did not accuse him of forgetting us, nor did we get upset that others received food who sat down after us. The issue we had was the visibly upset the owner who seemed to insinuate that we were trying to deceive him to receive a free meal. The lack of apology, or even a farewell, hoping we have a good afternoon, was enough to mar our experience and have us talking about it the rest of the day.

This cafe is still a nice addition to Warkworth. The staff are friendly and the atmosphere is pleasant and comfortable.However I find the treats that were once my favourites are no longer as good in my opinion. The recipe for the cheddar and herb scones has changed and the previously unsweetened ice tea now has an unpleasant sweetener after taste.

Love stopping here when I go into town, their lemon artichoke chicken salad is to die for, and they offer a ton of flourless vegan treats and drinks meaning I know I can always stop in to satisfy a craving

Love this place. Staff are very well versed on the varieties of bean they offer and very friendly. Best place for coffee in the general area by far and they have delicious raspberry white chocolate scones.

Really friendly and inviting staff. I was super excited to see that they offered gluten free bread for their sandwiches and had gluten free desserts. Ordered a dirty chai latte with coconut milk, cheddar sandwich with apple chutney & onions and an espresso cake. It was amazing!!It was so good that we went back again later that day but unfortunately they were closed.

Stopped in to try some hot beverages and some sweets for a nice stroll through the main streets today. Loved their coffee specialties like Bourbon Caramel or Amuerito Macchiato!! Tasted amazing, there were different types of sweets for on the go. They also have sandwiches, soups, salads to sit down and enjoy or take out. Friendly staff and very up beat community. Would highly recommend dropping in and trying any of their items, but the specialty coffees were on point.
