Vera's Burger Shack
Ruby was amazing all night long! She has always been the best every time I come. She takes care of everybody every time I am here. She is the best and I would 10/10 recommended this place. If you’re ever coming in make sure she’s working! If she’s not you’ll still great service but you’ll get even better service when she’s here. Would give more than 5 stars if I could. Ps. The food is more than you can dream of.

Apparently one of the OG gourmet-ish burger places in Vancouver.UBER Eats delivery was very good, especially the buy 1 get one free deal (which made it taste even better- PLEASE never change it.)Burger patty was a nice size, good taste with a nice bun that holds it up nicely.I’d like to try it fresh sometime in the restaurant to see the difference.

Tried placing an order through doordash, but there was no option for gluten-free bun. When I called and asked, they told me to select an option that didn't even exist, a half hot dog" and specify in the special instructions that I want a gluten free bun. Apparently I couldn't just use the special instructions option on the burger because I have to pay extra for the bun

Such a delicious Straight forward Smashed patty burger. I had the Frank - it comes with hot dog sausageinside. I loved it. Their sauce is also so unique. Even though they were busy with takeout and deliveries one of the Attendant came to check on us if was everything good. I could also notice that their effort keeping the place clean, doing deep cleaning.

The Brew City burger is pretty good and I love their fries. Only leaving off a star because they charge $20 dollars for 8 little fried chicken wings (salt and pepper is the only flavor offered) and you get no celery or carrots. And if you want blue cheese dip it's an extra dollar. Thats criminal.

We were looking for a place to eat our first night visiting Vancouver and decided to try Vera's since it was close to our hotel. Unfortunately, the experience was largely disappointing.+ Good service. We were promptly greeted by the two ladies working there. They were friendly and both checked in during our meal to ask how things were.+ Portion sizes were reasonable.- Pricey: We ordered the G-Money burger, Cajun burger, a side of fries and a Coke, which came to $42. The G-Money burger was also $17 in-store despite being listed online for $13.- Lack of seasoning: The burgers and fries were both very bland because they had absolutely no seasoning. The flavour of the beef and fries could greatly benefit from a little salt and pepper.- The cut and texture of the fries were not the most appealing. Also, the fries in our basket were a mix of piping hot and cold.- We noticed a lot of gnats flying around while we were eating, which often makes you question cleanliness behind the scenes.I am not a local, but if I was, I would not be back a second time.

The saying goes - Vera's Meat can't be beat! They definitely have the tastiest burgers. The Canuck is my favourite, with side of onion rings. The prices are a bit higher, but the quality is absolutely worth it. They're open late! The staff here are really friendly. It's always nice and clean with an open kitchen. Thank you Vera's!
